Official northeastern university regular decision thread, class of 2016

How do you know if you got accepted into the Honors Program? Were you supposed to say you wanted to apply there on the supplement or something? Because I don’t remember it…

No, at Northeastern everyone is automatically considered for it. There’s no box to check or essay or anything. They sent out acceptances to Honors admits a few weeks ago, and I had a hunch those would be the only ones. I guess I was right, unfortunately. Honors would have definitely boosted Northeastern on my list.

Where does it say about how much scholarships/ financial aid you recieved?

So no one hearing today was accepted into the honors program? :frowning: Well I guess it’s alright because Northeastern gave me a lot of money.

This might be a silly question, but is it possible that I got the Dean’s Scholarship but didn’t get into the Honors Program? Am I missing something! Confusion!

@Geltzisboss - yes. I received an 18k Dean’s Scholarship with no Honors Program

[ b]General Comments:** I was really not expecting an acceptance! I am very excited because a major factor in my decision for where I want to attend college is location- and Boston is my ideal location. Now is Northeastern my ideal university? I will be flying up soon to find out. I have yet to seen the campus unfortunately. I am very happy that I was admitted to the NU in program because I always planned on doing study abroad and this way I can get my general ed’s out of the way while immersed in a fascinating and vibrant culture! Congratulatious to everyone else who was accepted!

Ofcourse I am the only one who screws up the font haha my apologies!
