<p>So international recognition in mock trial, national recognition in research, and state recognition in debate, I guess.</p>

[li] Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis):[/li]Big one - From 8th grade through the first half of junior year, built a large online community focused around a game with ~200k members and ~1m users. (common app essay about this)
Science Research (with 0 connections and little guidance, my project was much more independent then everyone else I saw at the competitions and my teacher made note of this in her letter)

[</em>] Summer Activities: glassblowing every summer, Harvard summer school one summer (on a scholarship), working for parent’s business every summer, and chemistry lab research one summer.
[<em>] Teacher Recommendation: 1 was teacher’s best ever (I read it), the other just talked about my curiosity with regards to self-studied APs. It was also solid.
[</em>] Counselor Rec: Excellent - counselor usually writes weak reccomendations for top students, but due to a complicated series of events she loves me.
