<p>I applied to McCormick under Computer Engineering so I am hoping for the best!</p>

<p>And I was beginning to wonder why no one had thought of this!! I think CC should make a direct link to Northwestern, Duke, and other top colleges just like the ivies!! :)</p>
<p>For sure, actually Northwestern is one of my top choices due to their well-rounded approach… I toured as well, the campus is soo perfect!</p>
<p>Just set up my interview date!</p>
<p>No interview for me!! The only contact is in Mumbai(India) - which is 1500km from where I live!!
And I actually got inspired by McCormick’s engineering philosophy!! 
And it is the only university which I applied to with real hope of getting in!! But financial aid will be a pain in the ass!! :(</p>

<p>I applied to 12: Northwestern, Rose-Hulman, Dartmouth, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Duke, Washington University in St. Louis, CalPoly, Standord, and my state school.
I reeeeeeally love Northwestern, but I’d be happy anywhere I applied!</p>

<p>Anyway, it’s nice to find RD class of 2017 thread for Northwestern! I’m an international applicant. I don’t know why Northwestern doesn’t have much generic public awareness in Asia even though its general ranking is superior to other more well-known universities such as UCB or UCLA. My parents were typical Asian parents so they didn’t like Northwestern but I applied Northwestern anyway.</p>
<p>^ Haha!! I’m an International student too and not many in school knew about Northwestern!! I researched & realized - it is a GREAT school and so I applied. And 3-4 friends of mine - followed me and applied too!! </p>
<p>So, I guess it is something about the fact that they are not an Ivy and barely have any outreach programs in Asia!! :)</p>
<p>NU is in the process of having a tie-up with Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.</p>
