<p>Its interesting to note that this happened last year as well. I think this shows where NU may be lacking. Many other colleges have 30,000+ applicants but still manage to send out decisions successfully.</p>
<p>Got an email, almost had a heart attack, it was Twitter suggesting I follow some people .ARGH. At least I know my email is working. Anyone else paranoid Northwestern never even got their stuff and they’re not gonna get an email?</p>

<p>I thought decisions were coming out tomorrow and I saw a fb friend post a decision around 4pm. I live in CA and still haven’t received a decision. My friend applied to Weinberg as I did…This is ruining my night!!</p>
<p>Could NUStaff please give an update? There is clearly a problem going on with many people not having received their emails (and, no, it’s not in the junk folder) and numerous people not being able to access the link from the emails they did receive. We would appreciate it. It is now almost three hours after emails were sent out. Thank you.</p>

Thanks for your patience. We do know that students with gmail accounts are receiving their emails. There has been no server crash. However, emails to gmail accounts are being delivered at a slower rate then other email clients. We’re doing everything we can to expedite message delivery but rest assured, emails are going through to students with gmail accounts. Also - there have been some private messages sent to the NuStaff account - unfortunately we are unable to reply to them.</p>
<p>Okay, so that makes sense for gmail users. Everybody using gmail be prepared to wait. Just log off of CC and go do something and check in the morning.</p>
