<p>NUStaff, to get an idea, how many emails are going out? 30,000? 45,000? Atleast that would give an estimate for the wait time. Also, if we dont get the email at all, what are our options to find out?</p>

<p>gmail tends to be very congested…many times I get emails a few hours after they are sent so keep waiting everyone!</p>

<p>People! Chill out! When I got my ED email it was 2 and a half hours after they sent! You can’t send 20,000 emails all at once. Listen to a good album and eat popcorn or cry or watch scrubs or something</p>

We have spent a great deal of time looking at email addresses the past few days. We have “resubscribed” a large number of students who unsubscribed from NU emails to ensure delivery of messages to those students as well as looking at students to whom emails have had a permanent or “hard” bounce. That being said, there is always a very small number of students who don’t receive the email for various reasons. In the event you have not received your email by tomorrow, please contact the admission office at <a href=“mailto:ug-admission@northwestern.edu”>ug-admission@northwestern.edu</a> and request a resend. Please send your email from the email account used on your application or supplement so we can verify your identity and provide an alternate email address to which we can send the decision email.</p>

You need to dial back eastern time by an hour to get central time lol. It’s been a little over three hours.</p>
