We are in California - for people who are trying to analyze the email delivery pattern ;)

I wanted him to get NU so bad - dad’s school after all ;)

And yes - the admissions person trolled even their own alum in the morning - too bad!
Good luck to everyone who is still waiting!!

Is your waiting list ranked?: No

SO I applied for the double degree in music bienen and weinberg… and my email said I am sorry we cannot offer you a place in northwestern’s freshman class…

Im assuming its safe to assume I got rejected from both…

So frustrating- this is the worst way to try to find out your fate. It could be hours before we know,I can’t get it to load and with 1000s of app, who knows how long it could be. I don’t even know if I want to look! I also applied to Bienen and WB- I may be getting the same letter. So scared, but at this point would just like to know.UGG

rejected. 2170 SAT, 3.8 GPA, good extracurriculars, a great essay, a good interview. guess the fact that i didn’t really stand out. thought i was pretty solid all around but i guess not

@gbaby
I had read that the acceptance rate overall of 2017 was estimated at 13 to 14 percent- so I guess it will probably be somewhere around there. My sister has a friend that got in in 2010 and the rate was just above 25% then; now it is expected to be 10% less!!! They took about 43% of students in ED- I still can’t get on, but after reading all the rejections with great stats I am not too hopeful.

my S got an email, but it won’t load.
Same thing last year with my D when she applied. You would think they could have come up with a better plan this year. It actually took several days last year for her to get in to the page to see her letter. Best of luck to everyone!
