<p>I recall reading somewhere that Northwestern likes to waitlist people who don’t get into HPME… can someone confirm or deny? My self-worth is slowly dwindling…</p>
<p>My son still hasn’t received an email. He successfully received email from NU before so we know its not that. It seems like most everyone has heard because there haven’t been any posts for a while. Is there anyone out there who still has not received their notification email? Per the post by NU, my son just requested a resend. But I was hoping to alleviate some stress tonight.</p>

<p>@lulumama - I remember someone having a similar problem during ED. I guess the best you can do is wait now. Unless they’re open today - in which case you can call them up and find out the decision.</p>
<p>They have made all decisions though. Just that the mails keep going one by one and as there are 30K?? applicants - some might get a bit delayed.</p>

<p>Congratulations to everyone accepted, sorry to those denied, and unfortunately, to be honest, NU doesn’t draw much from waitlist at all. To those who didn’t get one yet, email NU like they said in an earlier post. It doesn’t mean anything about your decision. To people who were being stupid, having trouble pushing out 30,000 decisions doesn’t say anything about the computer science department. It’s not inhumane, and they aren’t enjoying the torture, though goodness knows I am just kidding, but still. Don’t freak out</p>
