@nopeyverg apparently it came out today; a bunch of my friends are posting about getting in on facebook

A few friends of mine have been accepted into Vanderbilt.

Confirmed, Vanderbilt is out: <a href=“Vanderbilt ED1 Class of 2019 Discussion Thread - #991 by nerdfighter23 - Vanderbilt University - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/vanderbilt-university/1691110-vanderbilt-ed1-class-of-2019-discussion-thread-p67.html

This is an NU forum, right now that’s the only school I care about haha

@Parthlen

I was just thinking about that. Haha

plot twist: they actually never received my application

Plot twist: NU doesn’t exist. LOL

Plot twist: we all don’t exist - we are just entities flowing in space worrying over nothing

Plot twist: all of us have been rejected and never got the letter

so this is not happening tonight? can we hope for a weekend decision or do i have to wait until monday?

we’re all waiting till like 7:30 pm central.
then I think we can call it a night if it doesn’t come. lol

out of all the years to wait until mondayyyyyy!!! ahhh!!

I mean, now we are waiting in case NU has electronically timed the release of decisions. They can pretty much send it any time…including late at night.

A crazy thought - go do something for a couple of hours then check? I called NU yesterday and they said that they do not tell anyone when it is going out - you just have to wait for the email. They only assured me it would be out not later than Monday.

@masterthinker - don’t rule out that they are still there quadruple checking to be sure all the t’s are crossed…imagine how awful to send out even 1 wrong answer, either way! These admissions officers pretty much work 24/7 this season!

@deannaj sorry we are all just nervous lol

I know! Why do you think I am on this thread?

@deannaj I hope you’re right…I can’t imagine checking my email every 2 minutes over the weekends haha

At least give us a static date and time for when it’s coming out. Other institutions are able to do such.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

yeah @aboukis wtf is this “by December 15th”? That could mean anything from the day after you turn in your app all the way to the 15th itself. I think NU is reading this and laughing at our misery
