Foreshadows can go to Hell. No one is rejected until rejected, until then he’s no worse than rejected, after which he is still no worse than rejected.</p>
<p>@CodeBreaker Yeah, don’t be discouraged. Other people might have screwed up recommendations and essays and all those stuff :)</p>
<p>The whole thing is a gamble, once you’re qualified but not exactly “well qualified or very well qualified”, numbers don’t add up. It’s really open for anyone. </p>
<p>regarding the college admissions process for northwestern, does anyone know whether they consider each student distinctly to which school they applied to or as an applicant to northwestern in general</p>

Haha. Here in Cupertino, heart of the Silicon Valley, jewel of the STEM field, the great majority of ED applicants got rejected by their respective schools outright. Been a horrifying december so far.</p>
<p>All my closest friends got rejected from ivies…talk about being my turn tomorrow

We’ll be different. Because few other schools were so uncertain about release dates and they didn’t go through our emotional rollercoasters :)</p>

<p>I suspect next Friday (the 19th) My son is still waiting on U of Mich and Northwestern - have a vibe they will both be coming out that day. Yesterday he was deferred from CaseWestern. He has a 3.9 unweighted gpa. and got a 36 on his ACT. Resume filled with AP’s, EC’s and volunteer work. Must say we were a little surprised by that decision.<br>

<p>@Lisn123 Definitely won’t be that far ahead! Why do you say UMich and NU will be both coming out? NU said decisions will be out by 15th, and the latest 15th it must be. UMich said by 24th.</p>
<p>I’ll be at NU for 7 hours today. I’ll hack the system and get us all our decisions XD lolol. I WISHHHHH. </p>
<p>See I wonder when UMich will actually be out. I feel like it will be closer to the 15th than the 24th.</p>
<p>I think UMich will be getting a lot of applications this year (by the upward trend these years), so I doubt it’ll be sooner than later. Let’s focus on you hacking NU here @nrk0530
