[] Strengths: The essays really gave me the opportunity to create a balanced picture of myself. Not only do they see the academics and the dedication involved, but they were able to see a personable and passionate individual. These were crucial.
[] Weaknesses: ACT score wasn’t exceptional, but for anyone who believes that ACT scores make or break applicants, you’re severely misinformed. They’re a part of the puzzle but there are so many things that go into this process.
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I felt like I was well-rounded. I may not be the most intelligent but I can guarantee I work as hard as anyone else, and my dedication and passion for school was something I felt could set me apart. That, and the amazing recommendations as well as support from those who have always been there for me.
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: No where else, at this point.

General Comments: Don’t let people tell you that your ACT score is too low or not good enough for a particular university. Everyone has brilliant qualities, and it’s imperative that you allow them to see these qualities in your writing and interests. It was a stressful process, but something I’ll never forget. [/ul]
