rejected… I was actually really surprised to find out I was rejected as I got accepted to washu and nyu and my grandfather graduated from northwestern. But really I didn’t care because I had already decided on washu.

Zack, I initially went to the University of Mary Washington in Virginia, a really good school, and then I was supposed to transfer to NU, but I studied abroad in France over the summer and found out from NU too late to go back to Mary Washington, so I went to Holy Cross College of Notre Dame University, so I took some classes at ND and HCC.

You’d have to call Claremont McKenna about that. To be honest, not sure if they could really do anything if you decided not to show up at CMC and go to Northwestern.

are you guys finding out decisions via snail mail?

That is true! Hmmm…

What are your stats, Patriot?

Yeah, I’m kind of curious as to your stats as well, Patriot. Congrats on WashU and NYU… great schools!

xfer, I know last year I was unofficially put on a waitlist (because they couldn’t find room for the students they wanted to accept) but I was never notified of it and told because of a family connection with the university. So, I do not think they have an official waiting list.

But, I was thinking about it today and I actually didn’t find out until the end of the first week of July of last year. :/

any updates?

My application is still in review with no hope of ever getting out. I’m tempted to throw in the towel and make a decision between the two options I have now so I can just be done with this process.

yeah… I’m feeling like it’s hopeless now too. I’m going to ride it out and see what happens, for better or worse.

I just wish they would hurry up :/

so since they admit on a rolling basis, that means that rejections get sent out last? so cruel that they make you wait so long to get rejected

mm well I don’t know if I would believe that right away, xfer. Someone on the thread was already rejected and I don’t believe anybody has been admitted yet. I think at this point its safe to say that it’s rolling based on when a decision is made, but there’s no indication as to what order they review applicants in.

hey…dont loose hope…I received my admission letter in the mail yesterday.
I live only 5 miles from the campus at Evanston so that might explain why i got my package early. They sent it via snail mail.

Wow, congrats on your acceptance! It’s nice to hear a little bit of activity is happening in that admissions office. Great stats. What, by chance is your intended major?
