Official Nov. Chem Test Thread

Ok...i know we cannot start discussing it yet, but here's the thread :D
How did you feel the chem test was like? hard? easy? how would the curve be in your opinion?

note of advice. NEVER USE KAPLAN it sucks

it was kind of hard and i ran out of time. hopefully the curve is generous =)

I ran out of time as well! I mean, wow! 85 questions for crying out loud! I am praying for a lenient curve as well

I was five questions short of finishing and I rushed through the last 20 questions.

How lenient can the curve be? The one in the official test book lets you get only 3 wrong. In that case, I am screwed.

Well, other textbooks offer different curves...lets hope that collegeboard lied?! :D

I thought it was on the level of the sample questions CB gave us... It was easy-okay. I managed to finish all 85 but didn't have time to check them all :(

the T/F, CE questions took forever, which caused me to run out of time and leave 12 blank =O!

b nice collegeboard!

It's good that I am not the only one who thought it was hard...

I mainly used Kaplan and I thought I did pretty well on the test... Just make sure you use PR or Barron's to study the environmental chemistry and laboratory sections. I read these two sections last night and lucky that I've done so.

The questions are a bit harder than the practice test in the official guide, but they are ok i guess. I did manage to finish but I skipped 3 questions that would take some time to solve.... I screwed up my answer sheet though... forgot to leave the answers blank for the questions I skipped. Barely managed to fix the answer sheet in the time remaining but I think I didn't erase the pencil marks completely. ToT

I got 3 CE, and i saw many f,f or f,t. anyone agree?

I can't remember exactly how many CE i have, but I think there should be around 3

Hey the math and bio threads have sooooo many pages already~! How come we only have a few people here??? Only so few of us are doing chemistry???

assuming it's ok to discuss specific question, (correct me if I am wrong) Sulfer contributes to acid rain right? I think it was the first question... and I don't remember anymore question since I was focused in math 2

You know you are in rural Iowa when your kid is the only one at the test center taking suject tests, lol. He thought math 2 was easy, finished in half an hour, chem was not bad at all and at least finished, physics was worse. Hoping for that generous curve.

I think I got 3 CE as well, as well as a good deal of ft tf (and one or two ff i think)
anyhow, que sera sera

I put as well sulfur - acid rain...

i got 1 ce on the left and 2 on the right

i think the 2 were consecutive

and infrared/ultraviolet was bs

and yea h2so4 is acid rain

agreed on 1 ce left 2 ce right.
What was the question about metallic (xx) is easily oxidized and the reason was like it easily gains electron... I was heck confused even though I studied it the night before. I ended up putting T F

i put TF as well, though i can't remember what i put and might have put FF for some reason

xx=sodium i think
