Official Nov. Math IIC Thread

i got 8. something

Would anyone like to predict my score if I skipped 3 and got 2 wrong?

probs still 800

i thought there would be one triangle because the height, 4.01 is greater than 4 so there is only one triangle because 4<6

maybe I drew the triangle wrong =</p>

what was the answer to the question about how many triangles can exist?

I omitted 5, and the trangle one was one of the ones I skipped. I forgot everything about polar coordinates that i learned last year.

what was the answer to the one about the angle between the triangle with sides 10, 10 and 5?

28.96 deg?

"what was the answer to the one about the angle between the triangle with sides 10, 10 and 5?"

small, I think the smallest one. was there one in the 20s?

edit: gcf beat me to it

anyway, was the one with the 2 stamping machines as straightforward as it seemed? just add the 2 rates and you d=rt?

^ law of cosines gets the answer. after reading this forum, i think i'm down AT LEAST 5 (ish) and 8 ommitted. goddamn it =[

I just added the two rates of the stamping machines (I might have been wrong). The last statistic question was confusing (about the percentiles). Anyone know the answer?

^zdub08, sorry, I am trying to compile a list of the Math 2 questions/answers, and this one was the very last I did.
Stamping machine - was it question 2? Then you're right. I don't remember the answer.

the +1 just means 1 standard deviation, so it would actually be +2 points in the context of the question.

edit: so yeah, it's 99

stamping question I added rates as well.

last question I'm pretty sure it was "above 99%" cuz it was 5 standard deviations out.

post that list gcf:)

i think i got 28.96 deg for the isosceles triangles one

omitted three.
pretty sure about other ones

it got rounded up to 29 though, right?

no, you were supposed to round up 30 degrees to the next possible choice...

29 is not decimal. why round 29 to 30???
