Official November 2010 SAT - Scores!

@qgroup: Thanks! Yup, I’m a junior, and I’m extremely glad that I got the SAT requirements out of the way pretty early in the school year. But I’ll probably still take a few more subject tests, so I’m not really finished just yet.

@massgirl92: Wait, I thought Duke had score choice? Which would mean you don’t have to send your SAT score. Not entirely sure, though.

I heard that the Nov test for intl this yr is a little easier than the others. Do you think Dec test will be hard ? Oh Lord, Asian students here are so good, SAT-wise. Im an Asian too and I feel heavier pressure now.

And someone please tell me all these 2300+ kids are not heading for LACs.

ugh I’m so angry. I could have done better. I’ve taken 7 practice tests and scored above 2200 every single time! instead, I screwed up on math and got a 2150.

CR: 740
M: 750
W: 660

But superscored it’s 2230 I think? So I guess that’s good :)

Wow all the scores here put me to shame.
I am happy with a 2160 :O

2360 first time
I am NOT retaking it
Man, it’s so long T^T

what was the curve?

Not sure. Once score details are released, people can say things like, “I got a -4 in math and got a 720.” (Incidentally, I got a 720 in math and think I had three questions wrong. Not sure about 800cr or 760w (77, 9). )

^3 wrong is a -4 and can occasionally mean a 720. I got a 720 in January and the curve was -3 = 720, though, so it depends on the test difficulty.

I got a 780 on CR. No omits. Assuming I got 3 wrong because usually 2 wrong is still an 800, while 3 wrong is a -4 which most likely yields a 780. And more/less mistakes and I’d either be at a 770 or 800. Shame that it was just 1 mistake that cost me that 2400 though. Ah well.

Yes, that was the point of me saying that. I’m fairly certain that it was -4=720 this time, as I know I got 3 questions wrong, and I’m fairly certain that it was only 3.

dammit u guys have such high scores. I WISH I WASNT ASIAN. IM FREAKING SOUTH ASIAN!~~~~~~~~~.

i believe if i take it in march i probably will break 2300 :))))

The math curve was possibly 800-780-750-730-720-…

^ Nope, I have a 790 in math, so…

Remember, two different versions mean two different curves.

From what you both say, possible scores do include 800, 790, 780, 750, 730, and 720. Given that a 720 probably wouldn’t be -5, I assume that these numbers are split between the two curves.

I should have said: the U.S. math curve was possibly 800-780-750-730-720-…, which would make the curve not particularly unusual.

^the U.S. had two different SAT versions.

^ No score is good enough. It’s your application as a whole which makes the difference with the occasional hook.

What’s considered qualified is a 2100+ with a 2200+ or higher being preferred.

^Jeez it’s only one part of the ****ing application. If you get a 2200 and rejected, the rejection won’t be because of the 2200. That’s when you’ll regret not tweaking the other parts of your app.

^ Exactly what I’m saying lol.

Does anyone know the CR curve for the Saturday test? I know 770 was 3 incorrect answers.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! I missed 2 easy questions and 2 medium on CR on my last SAT ever!!! WAAAAH!!! and an easy math question!!! and a medium math question!! ***???
