CR - 670
Math - 670
Writing - 760
MC 70
Essay 12

Total: 2100

I’m satisfied. This is my second and last time taking it. 210 pts improvement. But damn…I thought they were curving the CR very high this time??

Ok, there HAS to be something wrong with my scores! There is no WAY I did that terrible! NO WAY. Does anyone know what might have caused a significant drop in scores? I mean its just impossible.

CR- 670(Improved 120 from my last PSAT)
M-670->> ***?? DIDN"T IMPROVE none! UGH
W-760->> Improved 210 from my last psat!
Essay:11
MC:71
2100
Total Improvement:330
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG

730 critical reading
670 maths
600 writing

I am really disappointed about my essay, I only got 5 points while I had a quite confident feeling about it.

Do all schools superscore? ;</p>

dannnngng i didn’t do better. went from 2150 to 2110. but my superscore went from 2150 to 2170
booo
i hate my life
cr: 720 (from 730)
math: 750 (from 730)
writing: 640 (from 690)
aghhhh. well i was starting to think that i shouldn’t have really retaken it… and now i see it was pretty much pointless. i was just counting on a higher math score. which i got but not by much. and it’s not like i studied or anything…

No. You should check with your school.

and i got sixes on both my essays. i suck.

Akvareli, in response to your pm on my math improvement(you’ve apparently exceeded your pm storage), I wrote the following:
Well I don’t know what accounted for the drastic improvement, save for the difference between time spent studying/prepping. For the first one, I spent most of my time reading the Princeton Review Math concepts and tips and spent only a day doing some practice questions. Obviously it didn’t work. For the Nov one, I read the CB blue book concepts, but I also did 5-6 full practices. That’s over 5 hours worth of math practice alone spread out in a month. I don’t know, after the practice the questions seem easier. I hope my explanation helped. Best wishes.

And not all schools superscore. Many do, but I know for a fact that the UC schools only consider the highest in one sitting.

Ok I was expecting -4 raw for math and I got much worse than that. I mean MUCH worse. -4 and some after that dont even include my score in their ranges as seen in the blue book.

Just to give you an idea, I did 10 points worse on the critical reading, but i KNOW i did much better than last time. I missed 3 or 4 less! I dropped 80 points in the math! And I even botched it up as much last time i took it. On the writing, I wrote the same quality essay as last time which got me an 11 but ended up with a 8! And my writing was 40 points down from last time, and I was expecting a perfect score!

Is it possible something is wrong? I mean I seriously was expecting about 210 points higher than I got…

Oh.

Is there a list of schools-that-superscore somewhere, or do I have to go into the individual websites to check? I don’t know where I’d find it…

ttlyswt: ya i was expecting much higher than i got to. and i usually predict worse then i actually do…

most schools do superscore except i know the UC’s don’t.

What the hell? How did I get a 800 in Writing?! Nice surprise for me this morning :)

Math: 710
Critical Reading: 660
Writing: 800

Assuming colleges superscore I have a 2230. Cool! :)

640 in Lit and 620 in Math…
ughh…so disappointed..i was sure i had 700 at least locked on Lit

Yeah I know kcb. What I am saying though is that this seems impossible. I mean the scores dont match the range. Not to mention this was WORSE than what I thought the worst could be.

I thought the CR was very unforgiving. I got a 2160 but only a 650 in CR. I’m thinking of taking it again Dec (signed up just in case as this is my last time taking it), but although my CR might go up I’m pretty sure my score for that test will hover around 2050. I’m probably going to only focus on CR and M and W will suffer as a consequence. Is this advisable though? My superscore might be higher, but it would be weird to drop 100 points.

you musta missed some you weren’t aware of missing. i know i musta. cuz i thought i had 800 on math for sure. and my scores are below all the ranges i predicted. even for the worst i could do. i guess i got cocky cuz i always do better then i expect…

I got an 800 with a 10 essay!!! haha

690CR
800M
800W
