I’m ridiculously happy. Normally I don’t post to these threads. but. I’m ridiculously happy, with scores that aren’t that amazing for the collegeconfidential kids I suppose.

Math - 730 (improved 90 pts! from 640 May SATs, 610 PSATs; sooo happy)
Reading - 740 (Improved 20pts, could be due to a curve, May SATs 720, 800 PSATs)
Writing - 710 (Improved 30 pts, could be due to curve, May SATs 680, 800 PSATs)

I don’t care about my writing score at all; a 1470/1600 is fabulous for me! Better yet, my older sister won’t get angry at me for beating her 1550.

How do you guys know what your essay scores/MC are already?

I got 670 critical reading, 630 math, and 620 writing…80 points up in critical reading, 30 points up in math, and no change in writing. I’m happy.

Math - didn’t really prep (wasn’t focussed during June test, just focussed more in Nov); didn’t prep for writing either

For CR, I did some of the CR sections from blue book and red book (total maybe 10 practice sections) and some from barrons cr workbook - total ~10 hrs

What I realized is that focus during the test is more improtant than preparation before the test - the answers are right there, you just have to get them.

weeeeeeee. i’m happy that i improved in writing. Perfect essay score!
And I went up 40 pts in CR! But I dropped 10 points in math, which isn’t so good.

I have 3 wrong on the CR so 740 is the curve for that
And I guess one wrong on math? is a 780
And 72/80 on the multiple choice of writing
does anyone know if that is pure raw score?

Should I send my scores to college that I applied for ED? It’s private so it will take the highest combined, but…I’m slightly worried…SHOULD I?

I did ok.. (compared to my ACT, which is a 35)

June –> November
CR: 700 –> 800 (holy crap)
MA: 720 –> 770 (whatevs)
W: 710 –> 750 (essay went up from a 7 to a 9…still crappy)

Funy thing is that for the June SAT I studied every day for 3-4 hours for a month before the test.. and after that I just stopped studying.. period. Also, the night before the november SAT test I got 2.5 hours of sleep (because I didn’t care about it as I knew I had a good ACT)
