730 Maths… I should kill myself.

AAAA!!!
CR: 660 meh I can do way better

M: 770 YES!! I got one (maybe two? don’t know the curve) wrong, 1x0x2x6 doesn’t equal 12. Extremely frustrating but super excited with that
W: 760 always sucked at writing, I was surprised with this. 9 E 75 MC

What…
I dropped so badly from last time.
And I still got an 800 on W.

WHAT THE EFF IS WRONG WITH THIS SITUATION.

Does anyone know what the curve was like on each section of the test.

Three 670s for my D. Superscored 2050.
For those of you wondering about improvement:
Took them in Oct of junior year. Got 1570 I think. Did it then to see if she needed prep class. Took prep class. 1740 in May. Then 1890 in June. Now the 2010 in November. Major increase. She’s a 4.0 UW student with tons of AP classes but the SAT just didn’t come naturally. So happy for her.

Disc: I’m no English master and have omitted 12+ out of R/W, and did last minute prep only.
Cr-590
M-750 (rawr didn’t see WHERE I was supposed to rotate the pentagon)
W-540 (6 essay total, sadly couldn’t think of anything during 25 min)
Every section improved so my score went up by 130, but 1900 would’ve been nice you pentagon or essay or not enough time practice/no clock.

But good enough, for Berkeley I say? EC’s and national AP/GPA is really high (except for English class)

CR-800
M-800
W-780

2380 first time as a junior; woot woot!

Unfortunately, my scores aren’t available online yet. I think there has been some error; as a result, I’ll get my scores probably after one week.

I’m going to scream.

CR 730
M 690
W 800

I’m incredibly grateful for the writing score, and while CR could be better, I’d somehow managed to get a 800 last spring. That MATH, tho’…;_; I’m so frustrated. I’m going to scream. I got a 680 previously, and a 700 Math II. However, I’m determined that math is one of my stronger subjects. What the heck. I’m more comfortable integrating than writing in-class essays. But none of my scores demonstrate that, and I won’t have an AP score until next May. What even. Sorry, that was probably really whiny. Just venting.

But all in all, I’m pretty satisfied. Sure I won’t care in a few hours. XD

2390
790 Math
800 CR
800 W
Very happy. I can’t help feeling bitter though because I distinctly remember bubbling in the wrong answer for the math question with the two squares, which I know now cost me a perfect score…

CR- 550
M- 580
WR- 650

1780 … I got 1620 (CR-450, M-570, WR-600) last June so I am pretty satisfied with my English score but I think my math is just awful I was hoping for 600+ at least this time and I was expecting 600 or less on the writing I think I was just lucky in WR

Why ppl posting on this site get over-achieving scores on their SAT?

It’s not over-achieving if they are that smart ;)

i got 79 for MC on my october test
this time i got 69 on MC…

im usually pretty good at multiple choice for writing
is it possible that there’s a scoring error?
i got 1 wrong on october, does anyone know how many wrong 69/80 is?
i know its not 11 wrong cuz its scaled right ? o-o

xDevilicious, a 69/80 in writing is four incorrect answers. I think you mistook a 78/80 for a 79 on October’s test, which means you missed only one MC that day.

NobleFlaire, CC is filled with over-achieving students. Don’t compare yourself to them, just set your own standards (:
Personally, I’m surprised there are no 2400s yet in this thread. I remember last month, there were about 2-3 haha

Why ppl posting on this site get over-achieving scores on their SAT?

Its a self selecting group who are interested in test prep.

Like Bobby Knight said Everyone wants to win, but not everyone is willing to prepare to win.

I find this odd… Nobody yet has had math as their highest score (tying doesn’t count) except for one person by 10 and me.
And anybody who scores 700 on the math has high reading/writing scores as well, while a weak math score may be with high CR/W
Statistics :p, more data please, hopefully so I don’t feel like an outlier.

(obviously this is a bad sample of the population)

2170, first time as a junior.
If only I hadn’t bombed CR that day… gahhh

CR - 630
Math - 790
Writing - 750

i guess im happy.probably gonna retake it though 760 cr. 750 math. 690 writing. Thought i would have done better at writing

DS went from a 2230 in May (790 M, 730 CR, and 710 W) to a 2360 (800 M, 760 CR, and 800 W)! Now to get ready for the subject tests in June and he can spend his senior year next year applying instead of testing…Congrats to everyone for all of the hard work!
