Official November 4 SAT Math Thread

35 < 5x + 1 < 300
6.8 < x < 59.8
Since they are integers
7 < x < 59
And count em. You get 53

The c and b one was b^2 / 3

what was the c b one??

did anyone have the question about the two similar triangles, with like a trapezoid and some sides of like 6 and 18 and so on? what was the answer to that if you remember it?

Oh and I wrote at last second Ten Pi on the radius = 10 question because it formed an equilateral triangle. So 60 degrees each. 1/6 of circumference or 20 pi / 6. And there were 3 of em so 10 pi

i didn't have that...was that experimental

Also another one was how many ordered pairs. It was more than 3.

yea .

yea i didnt have this ordered pair one

math was way easier than i expected...this is confusing since our tests weren't similar in some cases

ahhh was it definitely 10pi?? did anyone get 30+5pi??

i second 10pi

did anyone get like 1.94 for the last grid in

I got 1.96 but there is more than one right answer

just to let you guys know... just becuase you didnt have a question that another person had doesnt mean that their section was experimental

collegeboard gives MULTIPLE SAT TESTS ON THE SAME DAY
so there are different versions of the test
and sirius i think i got the last one (biggest answer)... worked it out with law of sines came out to ac=24 and the other one was like, 8 or 12, cant remember

for the (x)2 +8x + k, was the k 16?

sweet

umm

53 integers
.4%
8pi for the square in a circle

yes to 16...

2 mc wrong on math = ??? 800/790/780??

I got 1.92

1) I chose a .54 slope or 27/50.

2) Since the 'run' has to be 2 thus the appropriate fraction would be 1.08/2 for the slope (divide 50 by 25 and 27 by 25)

3) Subtract 3 - 1.08 (or the 'rise') and you get 1.92

Im pretty sure any answer around 1.92 is correct.
