So... who else is taking it?!

I am...gulp.

I'm taking the Math IIC and Physics (retake) SAT IIs...I aced GT Physics and have no problem with AP Physics last year, but I got a 660 on the SATII last year :(.

Anyway, GL with your first time, and don't worry too much...you'll have plenty of chances to raise your scores. I wish the new test was offered November of last year so I could take it a couple more times (I only took it twice...happy with my end scores - 760M, 730CR, 720W - but I really wanted an 800 Math).

i am taking sat 1. i got a 1870 in june and am aiming for 1950 in nov. havent practiced though. any advice???

I'm also a junior & this is my first time :) Aiming/hoping for a 2250.

Took SAT I in October, but had a bad test day...got an 1840 shooting for a 2100.

Whoever is taking the SATI:

Post your gameplan for the next 10 days as well as what you're going to do Thursday/Friday before the exam.

Post Tips For the Exam as well.

GL

I'm taking the new SAT for the second time (took the old one once). Going for a 2250. This is my last chance, considering that I'm applying ED to Brown, so I'm verrry nervous.

third and last time taking SAT's. aiming for 700CR.. come on god.. just give me 10 more on CR. PLEASE!!!

Let's see. My 10-day schedule...

Argh my dad's putting so much pressure on me to achieve my target score in one go. If I don't get it he's going to make me take the ACT in conjunction with repeating the SAT. ***!

Lesse. I'm going to take another practice test on Sunday and review some vocab. Also I'm going to try to get as much sleep as possible (such as going to sleep at 10:45 tonight :)).

i'm retaking the SAT on 5th of november. I got 2050 in october and now I'm shooting for 2150 otherwise I can say bye-bye to penn

im just going to whack off before i leave for the test saturday morning, that should ensure me atleast 2300 since my IQ increases from the sudden release of hormones.

Oh yeah. What are you guys doing after the SAT? Two of my friends and I are all taking it in November (not planned that way btw) so I'm probably gonna convince them to have another Matrix marathon-allnighter or just try (for the third time... we've been unsuccessful each time) to have a Star Wars marathon-allnighter. Yeah. And play Risk like mad. And get drunk. Mwuhahaha I can't wait.

Haha we all went to GARBA the evening after the PSAT. And now movie marathons/Risk all night the night of the SAT. Good stuff. We're also taking Math Level 2 in December together.

I'm a senior and this will be my first time taking it. All this week and next I will be taking numerous practice tests and brushing up on my vocabulary/critical reading.. the only part i'm worried about.

the beach sounds like a great place to go after the SAT.

also taking the sat... have so many stuff to do besides the test...not pretty sure I'll get to do much practice.... I would need to learn some new words... as many as I still can :)

Got 1960 the last time...
Aiming for 2100+

math 700, hope to able to get 750-800
CR 660 hope to get 700+
Writing 600 hope to get 650

Deference dfo u think 2100+ willbe sufficient for some of the top schools ??

they might be.... a girl in our school got in at Darmouth with mid 1300's, also another guy was rejected after a year from Dartmouth having 1500+. so as you can see....sats aren't always the main factor...and yes...you still have a chance with a 2100+. :)
