Official November SAT 2012 Thread

@jkang909 the last questions were
How can sunrises be charcoals? How can…? How can…?

what was the answer to the math question g(t+1) = 2?

Does anyone think that the reading section that talked about the glaciers was the experimental section?

^ im pretty sure that wasnt the experimental

@absoluteness dam… What about the question asking about what are the parentheses used for in the fingerprint passage? I put extending a metaphor used in the phrase previously

wasnt it describing a process?

Why do you think that? The questioned seemed weird and were really hard.

Overall not bad, just took it today, it’s my first time. I think I did bad on writing, although I did manage to reference a book, and historical evidence. There’s no one question on the math I thought I got wrong, but there’s a high probability I made a couple stupid errors. The verbal was okay, I skipped only like 5 in the entire test, mostly verbal, a few writing, no math. Was the 10 minute section at the end experimental? By that point my concentration was broken, so I feel like I did the worst on that.

Does anyone think that the reading section that talked about the glaciers was the experimental section?

can we discuss cr qs here?

@coolbeans1995 i got that for a different question. this question was another one that related to the parentheses (or was it the italics…?)

What will the math curve be like?

@coolbeans1995
i put to set up for concern

@Katiesc probably like -1= 700 lol :stuck_out_tongue: …

@jkang909

parantheses - describing a process
italics - simile

@abosluteness yes i got those. but i know there was another that had to do with something extending the metaphor

@jkang909 yes, the passage compared fingerprints to “language”, and the phrase in question said it was some sort of speaking and stuff. i put extending the metaphor.

writing questions:

most of them built/most of which were built. i put the latter. but the consensus here is that the former is correct…?

librarians code of ethic problem. i put the answer that started with “that prohibited…” any thoughts?

what was the answer to the “tenuous evidence” question from the glacier passage? moraines, or settlement patterns of native peoples? the passage specifically said the retreat of the glaciers affected their settlement patterns

Theirs a really good list of answers of the whole test here, stilling missing some, but worth a look: https://www.■■■■■■■■.com/questions/367?title=November+SAT+1+Test+Questions+and+Answers%2C+■■■■■■■■.com
