ED rounds were a bit easy.
shouldve applied to Columbia or Princeton to see my chances there.
Oh well, i guess i should just look forward instead of behind.

I haven’t received acceptance or rejection letter from NU!
and the notification date is Dec. 15 which has already passed
so I’m starting to get worried…
Does anyone know why???
What should I do???

2300, top 5%, varsity sports captain, student body VP, editor-in-chief, junior prom queen yadda yadda yadda. Rejected. Not even deferred? Come on Northwestern :(.

I’m a junior and super worried about college obvs that’s why I’m here but seeing all these non-perfect but great applicants getting in gives me hope! Lol

Wildroses, sorry, but Prom Queen doesn’t mean anything. College Admissions are always wacky… You’ll get into some great schools

RapFan, I’d appeal the crap out of that once final Fin Aid comes in after people get the FAFSA in. There is no way that your contribution should be that much… O.o

@yoogennkjdhfkdshf check your spam box?

wildroses, dont forget thousands of students apply with top-notch stuff. but then as crimson said, you’ll surely get into amazing schools, dont take it to the heart all the best!

@picklebump i did…but nothing there…haven’t received anything YETTT D:

You may want to contact an admission officer at this point. It should have come by now. Did you get all of your materials in?

@crimsonstained7 yeah i did submit every thing~ every thing said it was complete on the common app~ and I sent my sat scores so I don’t think I have anything missing…and I didn’t receive any emails from nu asking for missing information during application process. I called the admission office today but nobody answered bc it’s sunday…;; i guess i have to try tmrw~ :(

When my counselor hadn’t done a section yet they emailed and said it was incomplete, so that means that you definitely got everything in. I’d definitely call tomorrow then. Unless you get the package of your acceptance info in the mail before that :-D

@crimsonstained7 yeah i should call~!!! all the waiting was tiresome…urgh… anywaysss thank you~~ :D

Got my packet in the mail today :D

Crimsonstained, I realize being junior prom queen isn’t necessarily an accomplishment, but I thought it was a nice touch to my application to show I’m well-rounded, not just a heavily academic student. I treat it is as more like a “fun fact.”

So, should we be expecting our admissions letters with financial aid to come in the next three days?

^Admission letters come separate from financial aid information. You should expect the admission packet very soon and the financial aid information about a week later.

Sitting halfway across the globe, kindof surprised it arrived so soon!

Being deferred is the worst…already tired of waiting

Yoogeniehoo, did you figure it out?

Actually, the financial aid information is online, which you can access with the packet they sent. My financial aid is good enough, so I’m definitely going! I’m too excited to be a wildcat!

Lax, there is such a small deferral pool that you probably stand a great chance! Guys, we need to get to 1000 posts, we’re so close :-D

seriously. you guys talk too much.
