I'm so EXCITED :) I got my letter just today

i guess the international ones go out first? w/e umm i thought they were starting to mail them on the 10th. and this guy started a 'accepted to yale' thread too....

Yo I live 30 minutes away. God damn, I'm gonna take the train down there right now, break into the admissions office, and find the admitted list. And in the case I'm not on it, I will be by the time I leave lol. Now I'm super nervous, maybe I'll know tomorrow. Where do you live XIAN???

I would think so because it take much longer for international students to receive their decisions, so NYU probably sent them earlier to arrive at the same time as the decisions mail to students in the US.

My counselor spoke with one of the admissions directors from NYU and told her last week that all the decisions were already made... She said that they might e-mail notifications as early as Saturday... Congrats man...

not to sound like a disbeliever.... but I want proof xian1007....

yea i would like proof also. i live in NY! about an hour away from NYU so i think i would receive the decision about a day after they were sent out. 2 days MAX,

I heard they only send emails to international students, and the emails just alert the students that they should receive a letter in the mail with the decision.

i dont know about the int. students early notification thing. I live in Beijing and nothing is in my mailbox or inbox. If i get it tomorrow, ill be back! but oh, you guys saw their website yeah? it says the notifications go out on the 10th(monday), and by friday most should know. i dont think ill be getting much sleep tonight.
