-= Official NYU '12 ED Decisions Thread =-

Yeah, I'm friends with a bunch of GSP kids too... really, it doesn't seem too bad. It seems like there's less work and it's much easier, and apart from the occassional joke about GSP (but they're not serious -- I haven't heard a serious derrogatory joke about GSP yet, not like people say there are), GSP kids are treated just like CAS or whatever school's students they will become. Honestly, I think I get more playful teasing for being in Stern. :)

I am from Kansas. Doesn't that count as a foreign country?

wow.. this thread is making me nervous and i'm applying RD. lol.

This thread is making me nervous because my stats are nowhere near as good as the people getting into GSP. Good thing I'm applying for Music Ed in Steinhardt then. xD

yeahh i dont like the scheduling nyu has in sending out decisions. its killing me

i got a call from the financial aid office asking my parents about something on their tax return form because they were making my financial aid package. does that mean i got in? or does it just mean theyre making it for everyone? cos the offices are separate.

If u kids have facebook check this **** out...

All kids from jersey...

Ryechu: I don't think because we applied to Steinhardt and had auditions means that we have an advantage. I don't really think that will make up for my mediocre grades...I don't even really feel secure even with an audition because you never know how they perceived you.

I don't think it give us a huge advantage, but you definitely aren't expected to have the stats that you need to get into Stern, to get into Steinhardt, and if your audition went well, it can help if your SAT scores aren't the best, like mine. Every little bit that helps me is great, in my opinion. =]

I'm in Jersey where is my letter?

HueyFreeman
dont worry it should come Mon-Thursday...
Only freak out if u applied to GSP....

here is what i think. GSP has already received their letters. the people who have not yet received there letter are either getting accepted/rejected. NO GSP! Ahhh im freaking out double of what i was freaking out before.

even thought i know im gonna get rejected, i get nervous too..haha

I just called NYU general studies and they told me that more people in the program are regular decision applicants rather than early decision applicants...wadafuxup with that?

more people appy RD than ED, so that makes sense...

are they putting people that applied to stern into gsp this year?

Nope... Stern doesnt put people into GSP :(

yes they do, just very few though

which one is it?

........what?
