<p>I have some bad news... Everyone should just get their minds off nyu for a while... I called the office today and spoke to the admissions director... No acceptances for ED were sent out today. When I asked "when do you expect the letter to be sent out?" the admissions director told me that they will send out the letters around the 15th!</p>
<p>So for your own sanity... chill and expect to get your letters on monday,,, If you get it sooner, great.... but more likely than not... you'll have to wait till at least this weekend :(</p>

I am so lucky my GPA and SAT sucks</p>
<p>They are probably delayed because of the extension of the deadline for Cali applications due to "California burning." Cal kids didn't have to turn that in till recently, so I'm guessing that has something to do with it.</p>
<p>criddle, is that just for cali kids? a lot of people from gsp and apparently some from stern have got their acceptances.</p>
<p>So far we've heard from various sources at NYU that Nothing was being mailed before this week (yet kids received letters last Friday and Saturday) Then it was "the week of the 10th with just about everyone finding out by the 15th" then it was "they will mail on the 11th & 12th and today someone told you on the phone that NOTHING mailed out and won't until the 15th (saturday) to be received what Monday 17th or Tuesday the 18th??? That's BULL...it's all been bull and we're sitting here trying to anaylze these guys and they must be laughing. What do we know for sure</p>

2) The last two days SOME kids have heard from their applied schools (CAS/STERN)
3) Today it looks like just Vector got a letter (where are you dude?)
4) The vast majority of applicants (including those who live VERY close to NYU and many who have stellar stats...haven't heard anything
5) No one has been "rejected"</p>

<p>I'm from jersey... GSP doesn't count... IM under the belief that they sent out letter to the gsp kids and maybe some of the HEOP kids...</p>

<p>Guys- Vector is from CANADA, this means that he/she probably knows because he/she live outside the states. </p>
