Probably that you’re accepted man!

@st1493

You received your email on Thurs., were you able to see your transfer credit on Albert before you received your email, or did you even check?

Congratulations btw. lol

@Loolala My stats are:

College GPA: 3.86
High School GPA: 3.76 (UW)/3.84 (W)
SAT: 2030/ACT: 31
Took 7 AP’s in high school
Transferring from a private 4-year university that’s ranked similarly to NYU

@Houston818 After I got my email I checked the website and neither my transfer credit nor my admissions offer has been updated yet. By the next day both were there, though. And thanks! Good luck

I called today and they said that they are still processing materials and that they will email you within a week if anything is missing. They also said that the system updates slowly. It is still early on in the process, don’t fret!

@ thinkingthink

Were we supposed to send our midterm reports? Or is that only for you? I think that is probably good news for you because they are probably close to deciding if you are going to be accepted and the midterm is like the final verification.

Yeah, I got that email today too. I was kinda freaking out about who all got the emails so is it a good sign?

Also, is anyone else who got the email on quarter system? Because they said they’d give my decision shortly but I can’t send in my mid-term grades for another couple weeks since my quarter literally started a week ago. We won’t have any grades to send. I had a freakout today about it…

@ahuja and @st1493 what did y’all apply to? like CAS or Stern or what?

I think we were supposed to send in the Mid-Term report for our current grades…at least for CAS transfer application.

Its always a toss up…it could mean something completely different.

I think whats most nerve raking is the fact they are making the decisions sporadically …and it is coming down to any day now for some people.

I am really excited and am hoping for the best. we shall see.

I was asked for a mid-term report last year, had 5 As on it, and was still rejected.

@giantmidget
That makes me feel somewhat at ease. I was getting worried, because I never got an e-mail like that. Once you’re accepted, they usually ask for the mid-term report, I assume? It doesn’t seem like anyone on this forum heard back yesterday. I think some people might hear back tomorrow.

Did anyone else not send in their mid term report with their original Common App…or I am confusing that with like the College Report or something…

@WorriedAlways
I didn’t send in my mid-term report. The College Report is something totally different.

Then I’m officially scared.

@Giantmidget
You said last year they asked for mid-term report and you had As all through but they rejected you? Did you have all the prerequisite courses that they asked for? If you had all of prerequisites, then I am pretty shocked by their behavior… But you didn’t get the credits shown up on Albert last year right?btw did you ask them why they rejected you? thx

@ giantmidget…

what school did you apply to last year? did you ever inquire as to why they rejected you

I was wondering if someone could chance me for Stern

@worriedalways

I applied to CAS. So it’s probably different for Stern? I don’t know, I’m kind of annoyed because my midterm grades don’t come out as the same time as semester systems and they’ve already started accepting people right? So I’m pretty scared.

@worriedalways I applied to gallatin

and I never sent my mid-term grades.

@ahuja I’m sure they’ll understand if you tell them you go by quarters. But yeah I think they’re going to accept you. Does your Albert log on look any different?
