<p>I’ve been having trouble logging onto Albert. I’ve sent two emails and they gave me a phone number to call, so I called yesterday. I was transferred six times over an eight minute phone call, ending up at the original place I called on the fifth transfer. I never got the information I needed. I’m quite frustrated. I also have tuition due at my current school pretty soon. I’m getting really frustrated with NYU. If they want to reject me I’d at least like the courtesy of knowing now.</p>
<p>Man I just called and they said they have not received my transcript, and that I should fax it over, but they never bothered to email me about that.</p>

<p>I just read someone’s post (Couldn’t find it again to quote) that says they adamantly say decisions go out starting May 1st?!</p>
<p>I was given an acceptance date of April 5th or 6th, and told to enroll by April 26th. Really?? I asked for an enrollment extension because I’m still waiting for financial aid that I applied to at other schools, which is a huge factor. (They said e-mail them closer to the deadline)</p>
<p>This has been stressing me out a lot.</p>

Like when I called them to ask if NYU had rolling admissions because people were already getting accepted, they act all weird and say that decisions go out starting May 1st. Other people have said that they said that too…I don’t know why they don’t say they come out earlier for some people but yeah.</p>

<p>People who are “shoe-in” applicants were given their admittance notification earlier. they are told to let NYU know if they are accepting and will enroll by late April. THis way, NYU can gauge how many of the “on-the-cusp” applicants they will accept starting late May. If not many of the “shoe-ins” accept, NYU will give out more acceptance letters to the “on-the-cusp” in May solely because they want to make the most money they can.</p>

<p>I think you’re right. On last year’s thread people were getting in well into May and even into June, not to mention all the waistlistees.</p>

<p>I don’t think Steinhardt has released decisions… I’m applying to MCC, and according to the thread last year, MCC was the last to know on JUNE 1ST. I CAN’T HANDLE THE WAIT! Also, I read somewhere that Steinhardt only has two people reviewing apps which is why it takes them ridiculously long lol.</p>
