Hey guys, I just got off the phone with NYU who told me the DECISIONS COME OUT TOMORROW for Stern. On another note, I was also accepted to Northeasterns business program and University of Maryland’s business program. I would be paying instate for UMD which is around 20k per year, but NU gave me a 20k scholarship which would make NU tuition around 30k per year. Any advice on which to chose if I don’t get into Stern???

Any feedback would be highly appreciated. I have never been so stressed in my life :(

@ConstantineA That’s odd, when I called NYU earlier today, the lady on the phone told me that there will be no specific decision release date for any of NYU’s schools, decisions will be released on a rolling basis, regardless of which school you apply to…well, whatever, I should focus on my current work

Jellybabe: did she mentioned if decisions will still be released every Tuesday and Thursday or are they going to start release admission decisions everyday?

Hello ConstantineA,
There are a lot if things to take into consideration. 1-If you plan on getting a masters degree I would go for the cheaper of the two because graduate school will more expensive. 2- which business program is the best? At the same time I’m a believer that it is worth to pay more for a great school with broader opportunities and a brighter education program because even though it might be more expensive, you will get greater benefits in the long run.

Rsxx92, I didn’t ask about that pattern, but according to her response, decisions will be released everyday

Jellybabe: thanks for the info!

ACCEPTED to Gallatin!
From the College of William and Mary
3.44 GPA College
4.0 High School GPA

@lexieam congrats!!!

NYU, I promise if you accept me I will promote school spirit as well as the NCAA sports scene and social atmosphere on campus. :)

Any acceptances (or rejections) from Tisch yet?

Applied to the Dramatic Writing program from a small liberal arts college up in MA. Im a sophmore right now so I’d be going in as a junior.

Tisch is certainly up there as one of the schools I really would love to go to and this wait is certainly driving me bananas!

Are they also emailing rejections at the moment, or only acceptances?

ConstantineA, go to Northeastern so I wouldn’t be alone if I dont get into NYU either haha ok, just kidding! If money is not an issue, think which school would be the best fit and would provide the best education for you! NEU has an amazing coop, but I don’t know anything about UMD, so I can’t speak for that! Location, size, program… there are many things you want to consider

EndPhase, true! ahhaha I’ll do whatever they want to promote the school spirit if I get accepted! I’ll use the NYU sweatshirt for a month around the city

littlepea123, they are driving all of us crazy! Good luck

Rsxx92, seems people were just being accepted! I havent heard of any rejection yet, which makes me even more anxious

Haven’t heard anything yet
they haven’t asked me for Midterm Report either (I didn’t send one in)
I applied to Steinhardt…
3.29 GPA college
2.99 HS
Not feeling so confident but my extra curricular’s and letter of recommendation are killer! So maybe they’ll overlook the grades?
Ugh! I just want to know!!

Littlepea123 I applied for the dramatic lit major too :)

Bobbr100: I agree, not knowing about rejections is also killing me!

Socialcomedy: I sent my midterm right away without them asking so idk if they actually ever wanted to see it. If they didn’t ask you for it don’t get discouraged, I heard of a lot of people who have gotten into nyu without their midterms!

@littlepea123 I’m awaiting to hear from tisch drama…I called yesterday and they said JUNE but I called nyu undergrad admissions and they said mid-may. at auditions they said mid may.

Quik poll, anyone else who’s applying for a transfer applied as a freshman? If so, were you rejected the first time around? I can’t be the only one…
