Tomorrow is the first day NYU releasing admission offer

^ That’s exciting.

Anyway, I won’t here anything back

How do you know they are releasing decisions?

@alowbryant me too

How do you know you won’t hear anything back?

Because they only send admission letters at this time, for me, nothing

@kimm. If you look back to the last year’s thread, I will know it 's right

Ahh I won’t be able to asleep now haha

If we take into consideration what they did last year for transfers applicants, then yes, NYU would start releasing acceptance decision for their strongest applicants beginning in April. Last year, it seemed to happen on a Thursday’s pattern (also Tuesdays, if I’m not wrong).

But again, there is nothing official about that, I guess. That’s just what happened last year. Anyway, we’ll find out soon if they do this again this year.

Don’t wanna make anyone nervous hahaha but that’s what happened last year

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1197410-official-nyu-2012-transfer-thread-16.html

It seemed that the first student accepted was on 4/5, a Thursday. But the person applied to NYU before and was accepted, so it was probably a very strong applicant from the beginning…

Hopefully we have people being accepted tmr to see what are this years’ trend hahaha

Has anyone heard

I wish I could say oh yes, accepted to CAS this morning hahaha but no…

Anyone still with items not checked off in Albert?

^ Me. Only application fee and Sats are received.

i applied to stern last year as a transfer and got in. it seems like decisions vary by school, and stern was one of the later schools to send out decisions. for stern, we all got our decisions may 17 (a thursday, around 11 am – so the tue/thu theory held true, at least for stern). both acceptances/denials were sent out same day, according to the thread. this is only for stern so i can’t really speak for the other schools. i kno cas got their decisions way earlier but who knows, it could all change this year. i just kno for last year pretty much all the acceptances/denials were sent out same day for stern, on may 17, and schools would send out their decisions at different times (with stern being one of the latest) hope this helps

^ and by “vary by school” i mean like stern, cas, steinhardt, etc not like nyu, uva, georgetown, etc

I got everything checked off

Is it just me or is there no transfer credit showing?
