2030 SAT. My school's whack and they don't rank or have gpa. There's this weird chart thing...

Hope I get in, though! :P

only 14 days lefttttt woo!

actually...didn't sum ppl last yr say they got it as early as the 12th and that NYU start mailing stuff out throughout the week of the 15th? so like starting on the 11th?

hopefully! y'all should post your results on here when you get them!

NYU is mailing everything next Monday, the 10th. I, because I'm east coast, will probably know next Wednesday.

Freakin' out here...

Bad GPA (3.15)
31 ACT (33 Sci/32 Eng/30 Read/28 Math/11 essay)
ED to Gallatin, but I'd surely be elated if I were to be GSPed

yeah probably next wed...who knows? i live in NY 1 hr away....

Good luck, guys. Just remember that if they do things like they have in previous years, it's the acceptances that go out first. I don't remember anyone posting on here about a letter of rejection early on.

GSP kids have likely already heard. Those letters usually go out a couple of weeks prior to the other decisions.

GSP-ers post your stats!

I live in NY too, about 1 hr from NYU, so I should end up finding out on Wednesday too. I am so nervousssss!

"GSP kids have likely already heard. Those letters usually go out a couple of weeks prior to the other decisions."

im pretty sure thats only for regular decision. NOT ED. so we're all finding out around the same time.

and where did you hear aboout the acceptances going out first?

No, it's for E.D., too. Check the archives. There were postings last year before the end of Nov. from kids who had received GSP offers. It's been like that every year, and I'm a senior. They have to send them out early because the student has the option to decline the offer, even though it's E.D.

The admissions office will tell you that acceptances don't go out first but, generally speaking, it appears that people who are accepted find out before those who aren't.

Oh snap!!! Next Wednesday :O AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I live 30-40 minutes away from downtown, depending on traffic, parking, and how fast I drive lol. Good luck to y'all.

GSP people have not found out yet, we would have heard on here by now.

Huey, despite the number of CC members applying to NYU, the vast majority of applicants do not post here. Like I said, in previous years, both E.D. and R.D. applicants referred to GSP heard well before anyone else. Here's last year's thread:

hmm it seems as though the guy who posted it was lying...im pretty sure no one will find out until the 10th-11th

what was the earliest anyone receive ED decision letter last year or the year before? anyone know?

rich, I don't know why you're so skeptical. This is the fifth year I've watched the admissions stuff, including the year I applied E.D. GSP kids always hear before anyone else. The admission office has a gathering for those kids in the city in mid-December to explain the program so they can decide if they want to accept or not. Unless something has changed this year, most GSP referrals will have heard by now.

Time will tell...first to get "GSPed" post here to see who's right

Sleep easy tonight, and for the next week or so, people.

Found this at the NYU website's forum:

Board Administrator - "No one has received an Early Decision admissions decision yet; they are going out next week."
