i did a couple sports team
school newspaper
lots of volunteer work</p>
<p>my sat score is around 1720 which is also pretty low but yeah</p>
<p>im in the accelerated program at my school
so i rank 40/619
ive taken tons of honors and ap classes</p>
<p>ive heard that ED candidates are usually the weaker kids
bc they want to fill their quota up fast and then pick out the
strong kids later on</p>

<p>not that its a big deal or anything but i was trying to correct matth who kept saying gsp kids found out if they got it in November....they didnt.</p>

<p>There are various honors programs. They operate under names like "CAS Scholars" or "Stern Scholars" and they get to do all kinds of cool things, like go on a university-paid vacation each year. I think living on an Explorations floor is also an Honors/Scholars-only option.</p>
