i did !! vocal performance

Yup! Music Education. =]

Nothin for me in the mail today.
Did anybody else get in?

Has anyone from Tisch heard?

i didnt hear anything. im in VA.

ED early decision acceptance rate last year was 32% while the regular decision acceptance rate was 28%... I read that the early decision rate was supposed to remain about the same (1000 out of 3000 kids) this year, while regular decision is expected to drop to somewhere around 20%.

nothing, and im in pennsylvania. im a little reassured though because im definitely not the only one with no letter today.

misshill is CORRECT...those are the stats (at least the Ed rate vs RD rate from last year) NYU (unlike say GW) doesn't have a dramatic percentage difference in ED vs RD...but in this competetive climate everybit helps. I saw some posts saying NYU accepts 50% of it's ED applicants...sorry folks that's wishful thinkin. Now I don't know about this RD rate drop, but I know it makes me say "whew" I'm GLAD I applied ED (it was a toss up cause I Loooove my 2nd choice school too) And it'll make getting in all the sweeter AND PRESTIGIOUS (not that it's much of a possibility)

Anyone know how many people auditioned for Tisch ED?

I Got Into Stern! Yesssssssssssssssss!!!!!

where do u live ennuiii? i live in jersey and still havent gotten a decision..and what was ur GPA and SAT? im starting to get scared :/

lol... ennuiii? meaning "boredom with life"?

okay, for now on, post your stats if you got in...don't just simply say "hooray i got in!"

My son applied to Tisch and hasn't heard yet. We're also in FL so we don't know if that could be the problem as well. He's a nervous wreck but won't talk about it. I pity the next person that asks him "Have you heard yet?" He's liable to deck them.

i'm an international, heh, i know that was not what you wanted t hear. 1500/2160, 800 for math 2, chem and physics

oo..wow..congrats

Rumor has it Tisch letters usually go out last. Not monumentally late, but later on this week.

But hey.
Just a rumor.

applied to the College of Arts and Science and haven't heard back yet.
I live in central florida.
has anyone else heard anything from CAS?
i read that it would come around the 15 and could be before or after and also that you might not even find out until January (offices closed during holidays) if your stuff came in late.

They purposely made it like that because they know that if the majority of people receive their letters on the weekend, we won't be able to call them right away with any comments/complaints, just the way they like it. Just as good that they are closed for the holidays, which is like heaven for them, because they know that they don't have to "deal with us"

No letter for me. Mail just came. I'm giving up hope.
