I sure hope that's the case. At least that's what I'm telling myself so I won't get freaked out about it.

Yeah, an accepted person needs to try it. If they get the same message, then you know something's funky.

or they haven't set up the email system for those that were accepted.
i dunno, reguardless, I'm not doing it. I dont think it's a death sentence though.

Yeah...I think I'm just not going to do it anymore. See, I hate living in ignorance, but in this case it may just be necessary.

Okay guys, you can all breath a sigh of relief cause a girl who got her LSP acceptance letter tried the link and she got the error as well, because she has to formally confirm her acceptance first. So, you're all GOOD! :)

YEP just posted that on the other thread! ahaha i feel AMAZING

Haha see! We were so right Hannah. lol

Right about what? All you guys said was that you didn't have the GUTS to do it.
...I just wonder what this thing says for that one accepted girl in MA.

we're geniuses.
let's call nyu and tell them, so they'll let us in.

Hey hey hey. I'd admit, we were chicken *s. But SMART chicken *s. :)

Hmm, so that just makes me plain ol' "smart", right? jkkk

lsp = ? google turned up some computer science program or something.

Is this girl on CC? I've never heard of LSP and for the link to not work doesn't make sense because you're supposed to enter dorming preferences and bursar stuff the second you get admitted through this link. If the link doesn't work, then people won't be able to do that and it kills some of the perks of applying ED (first picks on dorms, smoother fa process, etc).

For those curious, the message says something simple like "Your NYU Net ID is: AA123@nyu.edu" (your initials and a number), which is your new nyu account with instructions to activate it if you decide to attend.)

The ids should activate the second your envelope leaves their office so if it doesn't work at this moment, I wouldn't worry too much. Sift through old threads and read the reactions of people getting it to work weeks in advance and getting accepted later. This trick worked just a few months ago for new transfers from what I remember reading so I just doubt that it'd stop working all of a sudden when all the links and sites are the exact same...

LSP= GSP's new name.

Why didn't you say so? Yay, I feel a lot better. No more of that for me haha.

one of my close friends got into CAS either today or yesterday..not sure

ecollege, is she the girl from around boston that they were talkinga bout on facebook?

ecollege, is your friend the one from around boston that they were talking about before?
that speaks three languages?

hannah- lol, no shes not..she lives in westchester, ny

So apparently this whole way early thing isn't totally abnormal. (For LSP-ers) This is from two years back.

Hmm so it's not only LSP? Damn, now I definitely want my letter next week! They better not screw NYC kids over again, I think they take for granted our proximity and the speedyness of delivery. -_-
