has anybody received a letter?

Nope but it’s e-mail I think, and today is only for intl normally.
I just phoned and they say it will be this evening though they don’t know at which hour.

Constantly refreshing my inbox!

I received the email! Accepted !!

Congratulations! That is amazing!

I haven’t heard yet! Probably will hear later (or am in the rejected bunch most likely :p).

Edit: Nevermind, I remember reading you are from Chile.

Congratulations jamie!!!

@GuiltyBystander, portuguesesninja: thanks a lot! You are correct - as a non- U.S resident, I received my decision through e-mail. I’m expecting a formal acceptance letter. Oberlin never disappoints me; its email contains small elements of my essays, which makes it really personal. I hope you guys all get accepted!

Seriously! Wow! that sounds amazing!

I really want an acceptance letter too :(

Hello there Gods of Oberlin, if you are reading this, … PLEASE?!
I am the weird dutch girl with the bicycle essay, hint hint.

Anyway, amazing accomplishment Jamie!

EDIT: I shouldn’t have mentioned how I can’t sing in my Why Oberlin essay XD.

So glad a fellow international is in   CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!!! YAY!!!

GB - Can we hold hands and pray to the Gods of Oberlin together?!

Sure PN, although it might take a couple of days in my case - only got my financial aid forms in two weeks ago, because of certain family members not filling in their forms (!!!). ANYWAY - Good luck to you Porty! Have you heard from any of your other schools yet?
Otherwise you have a rough start with one of your first choices… Same here.

Why oh why not a stupid safety school or a school I regret applying to as the first one to let me know?

Nope this will be my first!! It seems that Mount Holyoke are sending their decisions tonight too. And then in a few hours I have UChicago. So yeah… tonight is a bit insane! My financial aid forms were a bit late too… but I’m keeping my fingers crossed us both!!

thanks guys! I’ll pray for you two, too!

At times the corniest of Jazz seems to work quite soothing: [YouTube - The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Take Five (1961)](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwNrmYRiX_o) Here you go.

I am doing partial integrals and listening to jukebox jazz on a Friday night. Oh, how much I love test week.

I am always keeping my fingers crossed for you PN! Also for Chicago and Holyoke.

EDIT: And thank you Jamie  Do you plan to matriculate at Oberlin?

Jamie, if you don’t mind, would you possibly post your stats? I am curious.

And hey bassplayer, have you heard anything yet??

Yes yes! Stats please!
I will post mine too when I get my decision, I have even filled in the form aready out of excitement and procrastination.

Nope portugeseninja, and you ?

Nope me neither! Going to go to bed now, hopefully it’ll come this weekend or Monday. Goodnight!

lol OK, I PM you if I am still awake when they come out !
Good night to you too.

i’m an international, rejected, and crushed.

I’m guessing it’s because I applied for full aid…
0-1 so far. 8 more to come, but because most of them are schools with higher ranks I am really freaking out.
