OFFICIAL Oberlin Decision - Class of 2014

It’s the 25th, so does that mean all admission decisions for domestic students are in the mail?

Yes, admissions decisions for domestic students are being mailed out today!

whaaaat. is it different for conservatory kids? I haven’t been notified yet…

Aaah how exciting/stressful!!

Dottified, shouldn’t all those information come BEFORE we make a decision hence HELP US and ATTRACT us to Oberlin…? I find their way a bit weird…

The people who have heard back already, are you all internationals? Or are there some domestic kids thrown in there too?

Yeah, I’m international from Hong Kong.

Good luck to you domestics.

Well, most of the information they send you is stuff that you can find online, if you’re curious. If you want to know about dorms and meal plans, you can go to [Oberlin College Housing and Dining](http://www.oberlin.edu/resed), for example. The reason they don’t send the Big Book of Forms to everyone is because it’s mostly… forms. Not super exciting.

And as for the T-shirts, I suppose it’s because there’s a significant difference between buying 2000 T-shirts and buying 800-900.

Just was looking at blogs online and Elizabeth (who works in admissions) said that they sent letters today 3/25/10. Which for me means 3 days…bummer…but for some of you 1 day good luck!!!

Actually, t-shirts will be mailed to all accepted students, not just those who decide to enroll. They will be mailed next week, or possibly the following Monday. They’re cool, and they come in cute little packages!

Oh, okay! I was wrong about that, then. Everyone gets a T-shirt. :)

ruberducky: where do you live? are you international?
