the deisgners fabrics are so .......... that they are almost inivissible?

yah i got the question wrong about the woman who went against cherished traditions :( answer is iconoclast, i just looked it up. i couldn't decide between iconoclast, purveyor, or dilitente (sp?).. other choices were dowager and egalitarian.

sushi, do you remember what reading passages might have been in that section?

and i'm with you on getting iconoclast wrong. :(

diaphanous

yea its definitely not an experimental section the answer is iconoclast

designer's fabrics were so DIAPHANOUS!! yesss i got lucky on that one! i guessed between diaphanous and palpable and thank god i changed my answer last minute.

also, about the mona lisa question about mouth/profile.. i analyzed that question for a few minutes and i am pretty sure it is MOUTH. because passage 2 talked about how after seeing the eye (or whatever body part it was) people would immediately recognize the painting as the mona lisa. and passage 1 mentioned "now we can't forget the FAMOUS smile" implying that the painting is known for it's smile.. and also i decided that it wasn't profile because passage 1 talked about how da vinci was innovative in his techniques because he was the first do use special effects (or whatever i dont remember that well) on the profile.. meaning that profiles in other paintings that followed afterwards had the same techniques.. so the profile can't be distinctive of that painting.
.. so i am pretty positive the answer is mouth! :D

kingdom,

sorry i dont remember which reading passages were on that section but i THINK the iconoclast question was in the last CR section??

Damn, I just looked it up. the answer to the haughty boy was supercilious.. i used elimination and got it down to supercilious and pugnacious and chose the latter. :(

damn looks like the majority put mouth..

what was the answer to the one about picking a career was more visc____ (a word i didn't know) than ...less rational than ___

i think i put the answer with intuitive in it...

deliberate/instinctive

the second part is deliberate

instinctive. that's what i meant. suhweet.

no, doodie...the first part is deliberate

what was the one for the city/ecology one that was like if they got rid of technology and went back to a happier time? was it a false supposition or a difficult arrangement? or something else?

false supposition!

i put false supposition

i said false supposition.. anyone agree?

i put false supposition, because, according to the author, you can't assume that going back to time before technology would be "happier"

False Supposition.

He was being sort of sarcastic, and saying what proponents of "cities aren't natural" would say.

I put mouth too!

Edit: Man all this discussion: i feel great hehe, all of my answers have agreed with the consensus. ahh avant got there before me. err rofl 4 ppl got there
