go cultural ties

is it cultural ties vs. ongoing relationship or

am I talking about completely different questions?

thykingdomcome, the answer to the mona lisa question was like it contributed to it's renown/reputation.

yay! thanks

wow you're good math wizard

Can someone explain why the beavers/anthills q was natural impulses?

there was the question in the mona lisa passage where it quoted "the thousnads of people that flocked and wiated in traffic to see the picture"
would be viewed by author of passage 2 as what:

Can someone explain why they think it's profile? I'm honestly curious as to whether or not I got this one wrong. I said mouth because Mona Lisa's not in profile and mouth is mentioned in the passage. Anyone?

Pretty sure the pyramid question was m/root(2)

YES m/root(2)... wow, had me going crazy for there!

thykingdomcome: I said the author of p2 would say that this contributed to Mona lisa's popularity.

Regarding the mouth/profile: i put mouth because it said eyes and nose, and mouth just seemed to fit in with that.

And are we 100% sure that it was broad generalizations for the afro american one? because hypothetical situations and historical facts seemed plausible too.

Pyramid question: isn't it m/sqrt(2) or msqrt(2)/2 ? because it is a square based pyramid so if each side is 1 the diagonal must be sqrt (2) and if the side is m the diagonal is msqrt(2). the height of the pyramid was equal to half the diagonal.

i'm pretty sure it was profile; i remember seeing profile in the passage and it completely tipped me off.

as for the broad generalization one, i don't think that is 100%. i can't remember what i put for that.

I put down Mouth, but the poster on the previous page's theory makes it sound as if profile's the answer..
(to trcik the skimmers and the people who automatically connotate the secretive smile with monalisa)

Was the general disloyalty (perfidy) fill in experimental or not? cause i blanked that. I loled at that question when I saw it, cause all 5 options were completely foreign to me.

The tree-building comparison: I don't think its self regulating, I put that buildings are still subject to natural principles or something like that - because he talks about how the interatomic forces prevent buildings from going beyond a certain height or something.

And why is it cultural ties? Doesn't he say how when africans unite the world takes notice --> ongoing relationship? Bah.

why was the beaver/anthill question natural impulses?

Nvm 10chars

does anybody remember on the SC where perfidy was the answer, what some of the other choices were? I really do not remember what I put for that one

I put down self regulating for the building-tree comparison.

Aspersions was another choice for the perfidy one

And I put human endeavors subject to nature + ongoing relationship + mouth (Mona Lisa is not IN profile)

what was the sentence for antagonist / friendly?
