***Official Oct. SAT creatical reading*** comparing answers

what do u think for the curve of the Critical reading, lets prey its lenient enough :)

yeah i thought the one on Mr. Bebee was really dumb. does anyone remember what they put for the question about why cecil said "the string is broken now" (or something like that).. why did he say that or what did it mean, i dont remember the exact question.. anyone remember any other questions from any of hte passages?
and for the MLK question about hte universality of the i have a dream speech thing-- i remember the question, but i dont remember the answer.. if you remember any of hte choices ill probably remember what i put

i thought MLK passage was extremely easy, and that the acting methods were the hardest... maybe it has to do with the fact that i lost my energy by the time i got to that 1...

what did you put for the string broken question?

Mr.Bebee was a pain

that passage was incredibly hard

Cecil saying the string was broken - "embarassing inapt" was what i put bc he thought it made himself sound "vain." i loved that passage, but the MLK and Acting were harder to me. i like literature and have had both AP Lit and AP Lang, so thats prolly why i thought lucy honeychurch passage was easy.

oh shoot i didn't pick the embarassing inapt one... i can't remember which one i picked but i remember it wasn't that one cuz i was trying to decide between that and another...

universality of the dream speech - reassuring?

I thought the cecil one was the best. The MLK and the acting questions were so long, I had to rush through the last few in order to answer everything in the alloted time.

I put reassuring.
those two passages killed me. I almost thought I was going to be sick when I looked at the clock and saw i had 7 blanks and 2 minutes left. Hopefully it is curved easy.

hm, i never had time problems on anything (except the essay of course). i usually have 5, sometimes even 10min left. got bored checking and rechecking...

i picked embarrassingly inapt.. because in the next sentence, it mentions that he thought it was the worst way..

Grr I Hate Mr. Bebee, Stupid Clergymen!

For MLK question, what does "suffered" mean?
overproduction and misuse that it suffered since his death.....

suffered...i dont remember
i put endured or something but i know it is wrong

nah, I'm pretty confident that "endured" is correct.

i first put endured then i changed it to felt?

i'm REALLY hoping for a lenient critical reading curve, I think I got 750+ on both math and writing though.

what was the answer for the last question of MLK?
