Official October 14 SAT Report of Wrting Mistakes

If there is truly a problem with the grading of the W section, and you really think that CollegeBoard made a mistake, put your post your screen name, and let us all report this to CNN.

hehe......This is funny. If it real, i also got really less than what I expected. Put my name up too... comfy.

hahah .

it would be especially amusing if everybody posted their screen name, reported it to CNN, and it was found to be untrue...that wouldn't be embarassing at all, I'm sure...

wouldnt it be jacked if college board check over the scores and says their the same just to show that they didnt make a mistake, even though they did? people who claimed they got better scores would simply be embarassed even though Collegeboard is being tricky and screwing up scores on purpose.

I thought there's an option to have it hand-graded or re-graded anyway?

I am going to report within today and Monday.
How do we report to news stations anyway?

You guys are crazy. Do you think anyone would care?

No one besides some CCers care about this.

Reporting it to a local news station is laughable, let alone CNN.

"And on tonight's news, some online community of the population 15 complains that there may be lower and wrong Writing SAT scores than usual because they got lower scores and may not realize that they got lower because they were overconfident when tons of people got higher scores than before on Writing"

In order to report to a news station, I'm pretty sure they'd want some proof first.

i took 15 practice tests in august and on the real thing got 150-200 points lower :(((

QED

I raised my scores 110 points from January to October just by learning to write the essay...I don't see how there could possibly be a grading error. You all just need to accept that you didn't do as well as you were hoping. It happens.

was being sarcastic, I didn't even get my score back yet

I wasn't necessarily aiming my comment at you; it's aimed at everybody who feels there was a mistake

I think there was a mistake because somehow i got a 780 when i was expecting something really low but I'm not complaining =P

If you really believe there is one, order the QAS... whats 20sumn bux...

can you get the QAS for SAT subject tests? more specifically, for german with listening? I don't see it anywhere on my registration page (took the test on nov. 4)

It's interesting that the students who did better than they expected (like me) think there was no mistake in grading, while those who did worse than they expected think there was a mistake.

In January, I was confident that I scored 750-800. I got a 690...it sucked, but I didn't call CNN to complain. Everybody needs to realize that they aren't perfect, and on any given test they can do poorly. Get over it and retake.

I agree. Use this as motivation to study harder and kick its a** next time!

why do you guys care so much about writing anyway? Hardly any college looks at writing scores...

evidence: Oh a bunch of us thought our scores were too low.

ahaha good luck
