OFFICIAL OCTOBER 2014 SAT THREAD (International students)

if you took the test in korea then come to the korean section in google docssss cuz we had our own test

I am so worried about the writing…it was easy…this is not normal…it was always hard on the practice tests…* sigh loosing my sanity

dont worry about writing. Most colleges dont even consider it lol.

In the fishing passage, there was one question asking why the “people tolerate the conditions”(urban sprawl and something else were the examples): Many people chose: The process was too obscure to observe [the changes] = more specific wording is “occur too slowly for any one generation to observe” or sth
But I remember not choosing this. Does anybody recall the other options?

i personally did not believe “occur too slowly for any one generation to observe” because it was too extreme. I remember choosing something else

it is “occur too slowly …” other options were absurd.
Other options were:

 • younger generation thought the changes were improvements
 • changes align with expectations about deterioration
 • too daunting

@pringles97‌
I took test in Korea and I’d like to join but i dont know how to. Could you give me the link to the google docs?

Are people sure -2 on CR is 790 for this test? That’s insane

o yea i chose align with expectations.

I don’t recognize anything on this thread or the google doc from the SAT I took on Saturday, and usually I come here and everything is the same, but this time it seems like a different test. Does anybody have an explanation? I doubt it, but my proctor was a complete moron so maybe she did something wrong… lol please help thanks

will the curve stay the same as that of December 2013 or will it relate to the students’ performances on the day?

@Phongtheha‌ I think that the test has nothing to do with students’ performances, the curve must be created when they come up with the test.
Btw, do you have the link to Dec 2013 test? Thanks in advance!

@pringles97‌ i took the test in Korea as well.

I also had like 4 No errors.
There are always NEs on the test. You can’t have a test with 0 NEs.

Can someone remind me exactly what the vanilla fat free math question was? Like the numbers involved and all. And also can you let me know what your answers for that were?

Whatw as the answer for the sentence completing question that had versimiltude and feckless as choices?
Oh nvmd these werent for the same question i guess

for the vanilla fat free ice cream i found it was 15 %.

Cuz : ratio of vanilla to chocolate is 3 to 2
and : Ratio of Regular to fat free is 3 to 1.

So fat free vanilla = 60 % x 25 % = 15 %

Guys concerning the writing question with exhaustive and irritable whats the answer? Also the cr one concerning the maze what was the prelimenege of the maze to the guy?
