OFFICIAL OCTOBER 2014 SAT THREAD (International students)

@Eljui7‌ I applied for ED, and in nov I’m taking the subject tests. I’ve run out of test dates! :(

I want over 2200
Can’t believe the score will be out tmr

i want a 2200 too. But so far SAT results loved to discourage me lol.

@Eljui7 yeah I know it’s stupid but oh well there’s no harm hoping for miracles. I am a senior and this is my second try, I got a 2060 without much study in June. Hoping to score above 2250 this time.

Morning, mates.

im pretty sure theres a bit more time than 24 hours. its more like 26.5 hours at this point lol

At 5 a.m. will be available. Guys if you get 2100+ as an International you are great

I got 1910 last time

I hope I can get 2200 toooooooooo~~~~~~~!!!But my cr score must be very low …

@ToshakaRin do you the song “Very supertitious”? :)) Do you have OCD? I also have it)

@eljui7 Whether your score is great or not depends on where you’re from, really. The standards for Africans, Arabs, and Latinos are really low. I’m Arab, and all of the Ivy League kids I know had SAT scores that were around 1900/2000. It’s a lot tougher for Asians and Indians, though. An Asian kid with a 2200 could be turned down in favor of a Latino with a 2000. It’s about recognizing potential with these top colleges, and they definitely realize that many people don’t really have the resources to, for example, conduct revolutionary research or enroll in top-notch SAT prep classes.

@marazan I agree with you. Can you say how old are you and how much you get from SAT (best score)? Thank you btw

That’s true :frowning: I’m troubled by OCD!!! I always feel that I omitted some question or filled in some wrong answers. I hope it’s only my conceit, not truth.

@Eljui7‌ I’m seventeen. This is my second time taking the SAT. Took it for the first time last year and scored an 1800. Currently hoping for a 1950+.

I’ll be in physics when the scores come out, so nervous!

@ToshakaRin I have been “suffering” from it for 15 years, I have known that it is something called OCD this year; previously I thought that I am chosen by God)

Hey guys. If following the 8AM EST then 23 hours and 33 minutes remain. If following 5AM EST then 20 hours remain. I’ll be at school when scores come out but I’ve decided not to check until I get home which will be around 2 to 3 hours later. sigh
I’m hoping for a 2050 above. My Math score (in my opinion) will be my weakest point. Argh this is crazy T^T I just wanna get it over with.

@AditiAryal I have taken SAT 5 times. It is everytime 5 a.m. Btw are you from India?

@Eljui7‌ 5 times? :open_mouth: wow that’s alot. What score are you expecting? And no, I’m not from India at all actually. I understand that the name I’m using is popular in india though. But nope, I’m not Indian in any way haha.

@AditiAryal‌ I know that this is a lot, Expecting like 2050 range but want 2100.
