@jor26029 everybody thinks cr is the most difficult section.i hope the cr quesions is easy in the oct sat

@Jor26029 @satplzzz CR is especially hard for international students. But I think the most dreaded section is the essay, since it’s the first. I always run out of time while practicing writing the essay. But let’s all hope that we can get through this difficult phase.

@evelynne1996 the sat essay is all about examples so i hope the topic is very general

@evelynne1996 How did you prepare to get 700 in CR? It’s drastically hard for me. Any advices?

@IMTLD1 well I did CB’s official tests and released tests which can be found online. Practicing a lot really helps, and it’s also important to build a strong vocabulary if you particularly have problems with the questions like word-in-context ones. But personally, I think the key factor that helped me improve my score was believing that I could actually improve it. I used to think that I could never get more than 600s, but now I’m consistently scoring above 700s, and just one hour ago I scored my first 800 (though I highly doubt that it’s just pure luck). But the change in attitude significantly helps, I promise you.

I’m having difficulty getting 700 for Math :(

@HvePassion have you try reading the Barron’s books? they’re super instructive for Maths. I have also heard good things about Gruber.

Could I ask where are you from?
@evelynne1996

@IMTLD1 I’m from Vietnam

@Jor26029 I’ve actually done all the practice tests from 2005 to 2013…but there’s always four or five harder problems that I just don’t get. Is there a pdf version of pwnthesat math somewhere? I’m afraid it might be too late to purchase the book for the October SAT next week now…

Ivan, I think you should make the google docs form now!
