Guys, do you think that the test will be repeated of with month? -__-

^

@Jor26029 I meant is there any formula that CB follows, Like Jan(US) for Oct(int) Or something like that?
Does CB administrate new test each month -for us- or something else

There is no formula.
But January,May and October tests are always totally new for internationals. But tests in June,November and December are repeated US tests from June,November and December 20xx,it gives a possibility that when you see ,for example, word hiatus in sentence completions you can google it and find in which test “hiatus” was used and then you open this thread on college confidential and find the other answers.

I’ve been following this thread for a while. Brazilian international student speaking here ( I see @anaclara is also from Brazil, with a name like that, it isn’t hard to tell! Hahahah) . I’m lucky enough to be a native English speaker so the CR part won’t be TOO much of an issue but like most of you I feel more confident in the Math section.
However, I won’t be doing October’s SAT. I’m doing November’s, so I plan to make a thread for that within the upcoming days. Maybe you guys can give some insight after you all have done your tests? I wish you the best of luck, you`ll be fine!

Hi guys…I’m also taking SAT this Saturday. Its my first time (and hopefully the last as I am applying for fall 2015 after a gap). A bit nervous. I’m hoping I can get around 2250, but I’d take a 2150+ (with close to 1500 on CR+Maths) score since that’s the sort of score I’ve been mostly getting on my practice runs. Really hoping to iron out the careless mistakes I keep making on Math before the test.

Regarding Direct Hits volume 2, you can find a slightly older version if you look around on the web.I also suggest you take a look at wordnik.com. Its pretty neat.

I’m taking it again this Saturday too xD
From Vietnam, hoping for a 2300+ (or at least 2250 lol)
btw, @Ivan95 Only the May tests are new for Internationals. All the other test dates are recently repeated from US’s Jan, May and Oct. But you may never know which test they will choose to repeat, so…

@ivan95 yess, i really hope having a gap Year doesnt influence their decisions, because it’s not our fault that we had to wait more time so we could apply…
@satplzzz that makes sense, I really hope I can get a good score in the actual test! Ohh great idea, I think I’m gonna look up some examples… Have any other ones besides Hellen Keller?

@agoodfloridian eeeei, brasileirooo!! Good luck on your test!!

@Jor26029 Not good enough for me to get into my dream school! lol so i dont want to mention.

@Jor26029 St. Olaf College. A small LAC in MN. But I’m applying for a lot of aids and scholarships, so…

@Jor26029 Thank you. What about you?

@ivan95 i have a doubt, if we choose sprinng admission will we start sophomore year in fall with everyone else???

@anaclara - Hahaha, are you going to do your test in SP? Mine is going to be at Colegio Dante Alighieri (Escola dazelite) . What university are you planning to go to?

Oooh, I see a familiar face here! @Phongtheha , good luck on your test! I’m sure you’ll get that score
I’m hoping to get anywhere above 2100. I’m sure it will be enough to hopefully get me into University of Florida!

@agoodfloridian you’ll get in UF even with score of 2000

Ohhh awesome thanks! @satplzzz but is the international test the same as the one we take in the us?
@AGoodFloridian no, haha im actually in california, so im taking the test here haha

I’ll be taking the test in GMT+3, what about everyone else?

Actually, they are.

I’m just kidding i don’t know lol :/
