Evan Smith. I got a 36 on English. I have a feeling it’s a -0 though, because it felt easier than normal. You probably just had an eraser mistake.

@cvilltn do you have any recommendations for books/websites to study for science? btw congrats on a 36!

Can someone help explain one of my section scores to me? My English was a 31 with a 17 in usage/mechanics and a 16 in rhetorical skills. According to the graph to the right of my scores, it is shows the 17 as in the 96th percentile and the 16 in the 98th percentile. It also shows the 31 as being in the 94th percentile. How can scores in the 96th and 98th percentile result in a total in the 94th percentile?

English 33
Math 30
Reading 30
Science 28
Essay 10

Composite 30

I’ll retake it in December.

gahhh my scores still aren’t up :O

thuglyfe:

OH MY GOD. YOU GOT A 34?! DUDE. world’s going to end. eff.
just know that 34/35/36 are all in the 99th percentile and is a VERY competitive score.
if you don’t get into college, it’s not going to be because you got a 34 and not a 35/36.

but i understand how you feel. you want the best for yourself… you can still take it in December if you’re applying RD. goodluck bro.

if you don’t get that 35+. screw it. thug life.

@BungalowDillon

Thanks and yeah, -0 makes sense. I remember changing one answer… I’ll regret that for awhile.

@NatiNate94 I absolutely agree! No one should be discouraged by a few low scores at first. I started with a comp. of 27 and gradually made improvements (not even by studying but just by understanding the test and working out new strategies).

For anyone out there that wants above a 30 or 31 and can’t seem to get there: keep trying. The whole, your scores will level out after 3 times is NOT true.

Was the science -1 = 34? Did anyone get a 35?

I’m satisfied with my 30 comp., but I already had signed up for the Dec. one using a fee waiver so I suppose I can see if I can do better. The 27 science score brought me down, but my other ones were good enough for me.

SmySmy: Science is by far the easiest section to study for, so you’re in luck. I got a 27 last time and a 34 this time by doing 3 science practice tests. That’s not even two hours of work. Once you get used to it you can nail it.

Has anyone else received essay scores yet? I was pleased with mine (11) :D

To answer yes 35 is in science is possible.
I got a 35 composite
M: 36
E: 35
R: 32
S: 35

I am very very happy with my score this time! On my 6th try and after hours of studying and private tutoring, I finally got the score I’ve been aiming for the whole time! All the time I put into it definitely paid off.

English: 35
Math: 27
Reading: 34
Science: 26
Comp: 31

Science and math have always been my weak points, but overall I’m absolutely ecstatic with my score! This was my last try for scholarships, and I went up 3 points from a 28, after making 27 (very first time) and 28’s over and over again. Now a huge financial burdon has been lessened and I can actually afford to go to the college of my choice (University of Alabama - Roll tide).
Congrats to everyone else who got the score they wanted!

Congrats unthoughtknown95!!

:)

My scores aren’t showing up! Does anyone know if there are just some scores that show up later? Worried :(
