Alright guys, tomorrow after the test we can all debate/discuss the answers, difficulty, and possible curves, and argue like we all love. Good luck everyone!

I did terrible on the ACT. The examiner called time on the english section when 2 minutes were still left (I couldn’t fill in the last 5 ovals although I had them marked on the question sheet).

The science section was difficult.

I had my ACT 10 hours back and I guess no one from USA has finished yet?

the science was rape.
much much harder than the red book’s tests

I got 25,26,30 on the red book’s practice tests (combind with Barron’s 36) but after appearing for the real test today, I think that I am not even gonna get 25 :(:(:(:(

Somebody please console me

I thought the science was okay, didn’t get to finish the last two questions. The reading was easy but I didn’t have enough time to finish up the last passage so I had to make some random guesses :(. The math was pretty easy though I think I got a perfect score on that one.

What would 2-5 wrong on the science, and 6-8 wrong on the reading be?

Science was okay, nothing too terrible. They pulled the “You need prior knowledge” thing on the rocks though :o
Reading section - Thanks proctor, I guessed sections 2,3 (Wrong time so I rushed)
English - what’s with the TON of “All of these work EXCEPT” questions. I had like 4 in the first passage.
Math - 36?

^^^^^^ this

was the rocks metamorphism?

That’s what I put. The other 3 just didn’t seem to make sense.

Do you remember the one on the math with the fruit juice and water? Was the answer 48?

I think I divided by the amount of water cups which was 5, then I multiplied by 3 cups of fruit juice

Are we even allowed to discuss answers yet :o

the cup one was 30 the rock one was weathering… I got the rock one wrong

actually im not sure about the rock one it may be erosion… dont remeber the question exactly

the rock one was metamorphism

[Metamorphism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Metamorphism - Wikipedia)

The cup was 30, YES!

Dude, the SCIENCE WAS BRUTAL.

I got a 28 last time but seriously I’m praying that I get a 26. I thought the Math and English were rather easy as was reading.

Did anyone else LOL @ the seagull passage? I thought it was WAY easy for a prose fiction…

For some reason I found this one harder than the sept. ACT :(

Cup was 30
3:5 for juice
3x+5x=80
8x=80
x=10
3(10)=30

its metamorphosis you cant make serpentine material any way else. but the english was different this time and i agree the science was really applying previously learned skills especially the drawing compounds one. thank God im in ap chem

LOL yeah, I was short on time. I happened to remember organic chemistry from my sophomore year, took like 3minutes for the last part.

science was easy overall

what was the one with the angle? choices were <5 degrees, 5-8, 8-11, more than 11

angle was 8-11

was the one with betty or becky or whatever renting her car the same amount of miles?
