OFFICIAL October 8,2005 SAT 1 Score POST Thread

sorry arcticsilver your message wasnt up yet when i typed mine in...

no show yet

Oct 05

Math 790 (noooooooo)
CR 590 (omg 10 more points and i don't need to take TOEFL)
Writing 700 (yESSSSSS)

Math 2 - 800 (must've been barely...)
US Hist - 730
Lit - 680 :( (prob. retake in Dec.)

Overall pretty happy. Lit could've been better but Penn only requires 2 anyway.

CR 590 (Ouch)
Math 710
Writing 690 (64/11)

I did alot worse than i expected, especially in CR and writing MC... Its all good. My first time taking it, I also had no sleep as I got home from a tough football game late at night, woke up early to eat as I was fasting, and had no prep for writing or CR at all, so I think i did decent.

Math: 760
Writing:690
Reading:680

Total: 2130...........(wanted a 2200+, but not complaining)

Math 800
Reading 760 (curve must have been lenient)
Writing 800 (80 MC 11 Essay)

I prepared a lot over the summer, using Gruber's (for Math only), Rocket Review, SAT Online Course, about half of Barron's Math Workbook, Max SAT, Grammatix, and Word Smart.

everyone good job!!
my writing was 67/11 by the way...i have no idea how that essay got 11 (meaning one person said its "6" essay)

cr - 700
math - 760
writing - 640

I am really confused about the writing score....but o well cr went up and it's the subject I'm really bad at. So I got a super-lame 2100 but my composite is 2300 so whatever. =D

Good job to everyone else! I wish you the best in your college hunt.

2300 composite w/ cr going up? does that mean you have 800m/800w but only managed 760/640? crazy!

Do you guys know if colleges will combine essay/ grammar subscores from different tests? I got 68/11 on the first one and 70/ 9 on the second one.. dont quite know what happened.. lol.. but I'm still the same writer

That is crazy.....writing went from 800 to 640...I really don't understand that.....

Which leads me to believe Collegeboard is fake.

And to ecm5227 I don't think they will do that. They'll just take your highest writing score.

ahhhh i love God.

Critical Reading 700 95%
Math 670 89%
Writing 770
Multiple Choice 75 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 11 (score range: 2-12)

;)
i was hoping for 2000 +.
i went up 190 points from march!

ecm i don't think they do. keep in mind though that the whole writing section is being taken w a grain of salt. by the looks of it you scored ~700 each time...i think that'll be good enough (at least for this yr)

March - 2070
Oct:
730 - Reading
720 - Math
710 - Writing 9 essay

Total = 2160, im satisfied
(ACT = 33, much easier...)

CR: 670
M: 740 (Thought I missed 1)
W: 690 (67, 10)

I hear ACT is easier/better.

does 760 math get treated like 800?

No, it gets treated like a 760.

My Scores:
690 M
800 CR
730 W

I'm getting it handscord for the math- I erased a hell of a lot and always scored higher than that on practice tests.

if you have 640 cr and 770 writing do you need to take TOEFL?
