did we ever settle the

"complete agreement/cautiously optimistic"

arguement?
i got cautiously optimistic

what about the one where it was (x-y)(x+y)=?

was the answer to that II or I II and III?

i dont get how you did that, can you explain further the area 35 one

cautiously optimistic? Explain. I put "complete agreement" but am no genious.

i put complete agreement as well

George, long time no see, lol.

100% positive it was bent, analyzed.

The answer was (2x)^y)((2x)^2y - 1)))

I got both reassured and simplistic...but I didn't get "complete agreement" (I am very skeptical about my answer of "cynical" disagreement or something to that nature).

I am not sure what I put on that writing question. I think it was "and since then has lived in North London."

i dont remember the whole problem but I just know the structure of it..the answer choices were like

a. I only
b. II only
c. III only
d. II and III only
e. I and III only

something like that?? remember?

Also, what was the answer to the last problem on Sec.9 math? was it 0?

the problem was something like 1+ 1/x = and there was a symbol.

georges-

i thought the second paragraph was saying that peole blindly praised MLK. the quote was saying that MLK was more than a dreamer and that he was a...blahblahblah.

so i thought that the second paragraph person would see it as more of "oh, it's actually going in depth and discussing other topics than "i have a dream." but i didn't think it was a COMPLETE agreement.

yes. because max area is in right triangle, and you want the two known numbers to be the smallest sides, becaues you ahve to multiply the two smallest sides in a right tri. and div. by 2 to get area, and you want the two smalles sides to be the biggest to max. area, and that only happens when the other side, x, is bigger.

Gameguy...the answer was B (II only).

The x+1/x answer was t = -2.

what did you get for the one with the isosceles triangle...it wanted to know the length of the base? I think i put 8 but i'm not sure.

no way????? Man i suck.... i had like 1 minute to solve that last problem and I accidentally added -1+1 instead of -1-1......:( COST ME 10-20 POINTS!

x+1/x problem was -2 (-1+1/-1) - however, one problem i thought was tricky was the one taht was f(x)=x/(x+1), and then, what does f(2) x f(3) equal. i was trying to figure it out, and i had no idea what the "x" was between the 2 functions (i'm in multi var calc... cross product? ***? some crazy alg. 1 thing i don't know?) then i realized it was multiplying, but that didn't help me, because it was 6/12, which wasn't any of the answers... except 6/12 is 1/2, which was the first answer. i realized taht w/ 2 seconds left. i was sooo happy.

anyway, yeah. MLK passages sucked hard. so poorly written, and the authors kept switching opinions and it sucked a whole lot.

and the essay topic, although easy, was really lame. anyone agree? LAMENESS?

It was kind of hard for me to build on good examples :(

god i hate the essay topics

for march last year, they were like:

majority rule. go.

what is THAT?!

isaac newton, lance armstrong, and potential death of society if we fully embrace luck as sole reason to success. i wrote that it was a subtle combination.

i was hoping to write an interesting and awesome essay going hardcore into philosophy, a subject about which a know far too much for my own good.

PLATO IS MY HOMEBOY

yeah, basically i thought the entire thing sucked pretty much...my proctor wouldnt even say 5 mins left....loser

majority rule, i had that one. that was fun. i wrote about a crazy post-modern philosophyer, and holocaust or something

it was more interesting and critical at least in terms of thought

does an essay without a conclusion hurt my essay score significantly?

And is it a known fact that a section can only be experimental if it is an extra one and appears only in one form? so is it true that there is no way that section 5 (the firetruck) could be experimental?

i had 4 writing sections but no nixon. Was the string theory passage experimental?
