fromdistantstar, wasn't it asking about what the first paragraph or something was about? Because the law thing would lay a foundation for his solution...I don't remember what I put for that one, though. I also put passionate about life.

i put that they relied solely on their experiences instead of reaching for what the character experienced.

but, really, i think i might have just completely made up that answer.

i only vaguely remember the community college question and can't even begin to remember the math behind it.
I put 49.

jabbermouth - I completely agree with you (pun intended). At first I thought it was way too extreme, but it was the only one that worked in the end.

Writing Section:
- Portrait showed a boy and a grandfather (improving paragraph)
- "Although realistic"
- She (traveled) to Europe in 1962 and since then lived in North London

so, (2x^3y)/(2x^y) - when you divide exponents, you subtract them, so 3y-y= 2y, so the first term will be 2x^2y, and then the second term, your dividing the number by itself, so it turns into 1. and when you divide both numbers by the same thing like that, you bring the number you divided it by out of the parenthases... so, when you re-distribute the number with everything within the parenthases, you end up w/ the original thing.

it's ahrd to make that clear w/o being able to write/explain. but that's the idea...

prehistoric human mustve been experimental, i didnt get that one. did EVERYONE get the following ****: cecil/honeychurch, acting/dance of the words, MLK?

was the distances from the firestation one the math experimental?

russdelabus- that was part of an experimental section

was the cecil question experimental?

russdelabuss,
I didn't have either of those math questions, so sounds like an experimental section.

hilary- fire truck was real. the one with teh hexagon was not.

Did anyone have the wildlife reserve in Africa reading passage?
Is that an experimental one?

russ - that section was experimental

cecil was for real

i got cecil/honeychurch acting/dance and MLK firestation wasn't exp. i don't think

Cecil/Theoretical Physics/MLK/Trip to library/Acting.

the hexagon? which one was that?

Reykjavic > I'm in multivariate calc too, but I don't go overanalyzing the question. for questions like X + 1/X, just plug in the answer choices instead of doing everything algebrically. lol.

GeorgeS >And for that math question, ((2x)^y)((2x)^2y - 1), I think the answer choice was A.

i got that one too

experimental section. the one where it asked the ratio of the hexagon in the middle to the triangles on the outside with sides x, x , 2x
