no i really really think its 19.6 .....

I didnt have it...i remeber having 4 math sections and finding it wierd cuz im used to the Blue book lol (and the funny thing is Im so used to turning my timer off/ from practice tests when im done/ the test I sometimes looked for it when i finished each section XD)

Anyone have answers for the last passage? Here are some things I remember.

What was the authors intent in including her grandfathers two phrases? Couldn't decide between illustrating his wordplay or demonstrating her viewpoint on acting.

What purpose did quoting shakespeare serve? I put provided a good example of her feelings about language or something like that.

What purpose did her " the heat remembers... nonsense" serve? I think the answer was something about diverse nature of memory.

What does metaphor most nearly mean?
Drawing from their own expierence.

What purpose does the third paragraph serve?
Author explains her issues with a certain acting style.

What does the author assume about her students?
Students are their own unique person or something like that.

play music with less discipline

because the "young man" recounts how he saw her playing the pieces, how you could "predict" what the next pieces would be

yay anyone thinks this is right?

What was the authors intent in including her grandfathers two phrases? like strenght of grandfathers msg or osemthing

What purpose did quoting shakespeare serve?
shows her feelings to the words or soemthign

What purpose did her " the heat remembers... nonsense" serve? I think the answer was something about diverse nature of memory.

What does metaphor most nearly mean?
Drawing from their own expierence.

What purpose does the third paragraph serve?
talks about her rejecting the singleoriented theory or somethign

What does the author assume about her students?
all have experienced all the feelings or soemthing

we already confirmed that jksbond...

what was the exact answer for the last question about metaphors?

i think the choices were objective observations, personal comparisons, personal misgivings etc.. what did you guys put

personal comparisons

personal comparisons

i think i put objective observatiuons

can someone please do the question in whcih people are debating is 70/3 or 19.6.....

what about the acting one: which would prove that the characters brought in were all the same?

was it the students complained of repetitiveness?

did anyone have the SC about John Adam's Book that was so through it like dominated the other books?

or was that on experimental?

i'd also like to know how it was 70/3 i got 19.6, since the one segment not in the triangle was 2/5 of the one that was i made the triangle segment 1 and then the othe 2/5. then if the triangle had an area of 7 the other side had to be a length of 14. therefore the one length was 14 and the other was 1+2/5. multiplying them gives u 19.6

didnt have that....but i still had 4 writing sections

its 70/3. for SURE. because the ppl who got 19.6 (i did at first but then changed it) used 2/7 as a proportion not 2/5

sepolka.. was that an answer to my post or somebody elses

ummm, it said 2/5, why would anyone use 2/7 instead?? can anyone AT LEAST show how they got 70/3???

John Adam's book must have been the experimental, tidal
i didnt have it and it doesnt seem like anyone else did besides you

you...did you have a CR section about kid going to libraries

i got 19.6 too. what i did was set up hypothetical values. one portion of the rectangle i said was 4 and the other 10. In this case the height of the triangle would have to be 1.4 so that the area comes out to 7. then its just 14 x 1.4 = 19.6. everyone else says 70/3 though so who knows.
