I did reference to speech too I think

for the problem with the 80 degree angle, its pretty simple. There is a circle with a concentric circle inside, piece of the circle is cut out that forms an 80 degree angle. The radius of the bigger circle is twice the size of the smaller circle. the circumference of the larger circle is 36. You have to use the formula for circumference, c=2(pi)r, so 36=2(pi)r, and r becomes like 11.29 or something. Since thats the radius, you divide it by 2 to get the radius of the smaller circle. You then have to see that the arc that is 80 degrees goes into 360 degrees 4.5 times. So you take the circumference of the smaller circle and divide it by 4.5 and that is the answer

I just got back from the test... I had 4 verbal sections, so I'm guessing one of them was experimental.. but i def didn't get one w/ Richard Nixon.. I'm hoping the Martin Luther King one was experimental cause it seemed significantly harder than everything else... and yeah, t=-2 (or at least that's what I got!)

jaijai 12 it was just II

How about we talk about some questions on the writing sections?

For the one "find the error" sentence with the Empire State Building, Sears Tower, and the Toronto National Tower....was the answer "was." Shouldn't it be "had been"?

for one the the MLK, i put Agree Completely.... and what were the other choices for the Cecil metaphor question?

I got prodigious too!

Concerning cancellation..............i zoned out near the end and didn't touch the last math section, so my math score is going to be very low, i'd think in the whereabouts of 500 or so. My CR and writing were fine though.
I took the old SAT in jan and got a decent math score; all I really needed from this test was writing, and i got it. Should i still cancel this test? Can I rely on my old SAT scores as a backup if i'm applying EA, since i hear that they only take into account your highest scores, or will the second score still count against me?

i put agree completely as well

The 2 circle one was 4.

and for the acting; personal comparisons and not private misgivings, right?

what is the answer of thge sentence completion where it was something like : " the university_____ students."

bully, cajole ( cant remember the others) ?

i think we can officially establish the fact that the 2 circle one with 80 degrees was 4

now end of discussion haha

bully... i put bully for that one because it said they threatened them

i put bully too.

bully? ...

the 1300 one was the one with the books being sold at the end of each week

other questions/answers:
y = 120-12x
point c on the number line
8 - for one with triangle and midpoint line, find the length of a seg.
60 degrees - inscribed angle
65 degrees - random question
1 - 3y/2x question - y equaled 30 and x equaled 45
I don't remember the answer but the question was about blue and black socks - I think i got 12?
- 81 (early on in math section)
- 2/10
- I remembered the question with I,II, III - it was about p^2 + r^ = 49
- I think the min distance for the first firetruck problem was 3.5 - could be wrong
- Did we resolve the circle or square issue?

answering someone's question: i am more of a math person and got a 790M/680V on the old SAT last October.
This is the first time taking the New SAT.

I got prodigious.

I wasn't sure of the Empire State Building one. I said you needed to change the last them, but i was very unsure. Each, i believe, is always followed by a sing tense.

Each of these buildings was ... them.

fcecil ection was experimental, mlk section was 4 real. in my test , cecil section appeared after section 2 which was also CR, so it deffinitely had to be experimental. Sentence completions in cecil section were much harder than in the MLK section as well; the MLK passage was much easier than the cecil one since the cecil one is dialogue-like (it had to be experimental, cos that's unisual on the SAT)

.. what was the answer to the problem with the triangle/rectangle 14 area 2/5 question?? sorry my numbers are probably off
