yes i got that

tan < 1/2

yes i got that

tan < 1/2

one of my answers was like they’re both equal either company the person chooses, it was something with $50 and something with $60 and 25 cents or 20 cents per mile

Rawk, I think it was either B or C. It wasn’t a beginning or ending choice as far as I remember…but my brain hurts.

Just reaffirming from what people have said- the one regarding the sqrt(r/s) + sqrt(s/r)…was it K/E/the last one? Just making sure.

And the degree- I thought it was 84, not 88. 180-132 equals 44. And the top angle had to be 44…right? Can someone give me the figure/pic?

damn it i put tan<2 or something like that i remember i didnt chose the 1/2 one from both the tan options

Daps the answer was the same mileage/E/J

Was that graph one in math or science? I thought it was in science… I picked the linear graph with a negative slope in the 2nd quadrant, should it have been the nonlinear one? I didn’t even think about that.

was the answer of the question on an object being thrown into the air x = 2?

it was -16x^2 and a longer equation. I solved it all out then put it into my calculator and got x = 2.

pretty sure i got a 36 on this section. i honestly knew how to do EVERY question

sorry, I mean tan > 1/2. Was there a choice like that? Or was tan <1/2 the only one…cause if there was another one, I might have gotten it wrong.

Hopeful, I think it’s science section. Don’t remember one like that in the math at least.

wasnt it tan(x) > 1/2?

or was there only 1 tan and 1/2 answer choice?

it was linear and downward(?), it was in science

the object being thrown in the air answer was 1 second i think.

linear and downward one was in science, it was like theta vs something

CGB it was 1. I remember the equation was like this;

t = -16t^2 +36t - 16.

Therefore,

(-16)(t^2 - 2t +1) = -16(t -1)^2. Therefore, if set to 0, t equals 1.

Nitro- if there ARE two choices, then I think we were wrong, because the equation is like this:

sin x> 1/2 cos x

therefore, 2 sin x> cos x.

2> cos x/sin x…which is the cot. not the tangent. thus we take the reciprocal of each, getting which is 1/2 > tan x. I hope not though…all that effort I spent for nothing!

im pretty sure it was tan(x) > 1/2 or whatever
i think the other answer was tan(x) > 2

Nitro- if there ARE two choices, then I think we were wrong, because the equation is like this:

sin x> 1/2 cos x

therefore, 2 sin x> cos x.

2> sin x/cos x which is 2 > tan x. I hope not though…all that effort I spent for nothing!

2 sinx> cosx is NOT 2> sinx/cosx. it’s 2> cotx, which is actually tan<1/2x

tan is sin/cos, not cos/sin

what about the students in the line, it was just the old 54321 right?

im pretty sure it was the one w/the 1/2 in it, i think your mind is just messing w/you unless someone can confirm otherwise

what about the one that said “3 cups of juice and 5 cups of water are needed for punch. how many cups of juice are needed for 80 cups of punch?”

i think i put 48.

yeah nitro i do remember tan x > 2 was an option, and I nearly chose it but I rechecked and changed it to the 1/2 one.

i think i put 30

80 total / 8 per punch, * 3 juice per cup = 30

master- it’s confirmed that it was 30. an advice- go back and look through the other posts to see if your answered is confirmed. that way you don’t have to ask them again. :D

and Nitro- for the students, you were right.
